Well said Jaded. I, in my 80s , really appreciate those 3 glory years. Yes, not just 2021 but 2022 and 23 as well. Injuries cost us more flags, but in my mind we were the best team in the competition for that period of time. I still proudly display my Melbourne Premiers Pennant which I look at every day with much appreciation and love. Go Demons 2026!

Have you forgotten that a couple of weeks ago we gave the bullies a big fright and played an EXCELLENT standard of football as did the WB? We have what it takes. Just wait till we get our new coach and assistants. You need to have more faith in our young, developing team.

I don't really think you could say Oliver is not invested. He tries his guts out week after week. Can't say the same with Trac who is playing in bursts. Love them both though and hate the thought of them playing AGAINST us.

I would love Cam Bruce back as coach. Has had plenty of apprenticeships and is a good student of the game. Excellent CV. Great player and bloke. He would be highly respected by his charges.

The 'good news' is that Sunday's game was NOT the biggest comeback in the AFL/VFL. The biggest last quarter comeback was by Essendon on 1992. After a few minutes of the last quarter they were 48 points behind to win by a solitary point after the siren. The bad news though Melbourne was the losing side again! Graham Moss was the goal kicker for the Bombers. So basically they made up the deficit in less than a quarter. ☹️ Almost identical scenario.
