One player who is becoming very valuable with a huge improvement in his output this season is Harry Sharp. he has shown himself to be very nippy around the ground . He has great speed and has great endurance. A very useful combination for AFL football. I was reading that he was an elite steeplechaser in his track and field days. This event being a very tough one means that he has a very big tank. His last quarters have shown this. Well done Harry. Keep up the good work and you will become a regular this season.

KATE HORE has been honoured by her old school Mentone Grammar. She has been awarded the Mentonians Person of the year 2026. Truly deserved, we would all agree. Kate was not able to attend the Ceremony as she was abroad and her parents accepted it on her behalf. Typical of Kate, she has donated her $2500 prize to the Jim Stynes Foundation. Its so sad when so called supporters refuse to admit the merit of Clarrys excellent first up game. Given that he has never played with these boys before it was a pretty good effort from him. I really dislike the HATE some posters are displaying towards Clarry. l Their long term memories are just not functioning well.

Amazing Picket for someone, anyone to say that Oliver played scared. Oliver was and is as tough as nails. He went into packs like a man possessed. Sad when some posters treat him like dirt and forget his years of absolute brilliance. I remember an interview he had late last season. He was talking about the new game plan of Goodwin and how he was feeling confident of it working in season 2026. He wanted to stay, he definitely wanted to stay.
