Interesting. No list changes, delisting, or comments of who wants to leave. That’s rather unusual.

With the end of the season, exit interviews are upon us. We have lost three coaches, and hopefully that’s the last of the changes on that front. (Goodwin, Williams and Radford) Which players do you think will request trades, request to stay and straight up be delisted? Do you think they’re waiting to complete the interviews for the new incoming coach or happening soon?

I wouldn’t argue Max also has the toughest role on the body in the game, and yet still gets BOG most games and carries us. Just think, we would be 17th probably each season without him.

Gosh I wish I could be in March of next year, know who our coaches are, and new players and moved players. Suspense killing me. I feel like we won’t get a lot of decent players this year. Hopefully we move a few on that are dead wood.

That’s a shame. Wonder if we can match.

Agreed. He’s not a gem or winning factor. He’s handy and smooth. I wouldn’t be bothered if he decided to look around either.

Few interesting players delisted, Cincotta, Finlayson. What is everyone’s thoughts?

Have our exit meetings been held?

Whilst that’s ideal. It’s delusion. How many dudes are a golden boot, at 200 cm, that aren’t already snapped up. Wouldn’t that be nice.

Any AFL trade gurus in here, able to make a list of the possible moves both inward and outward for us? Would be really curious to see the options we have and possibilities.

They can have fumble fingers. One of my favorite players has gone to dust, he’s slow, fumbling, getting bigger all intercepts, and really just a shadow of himself. All the other players his age are aging like fine wine but he’s going the opposite. Funny story about Maysie, his partner pranked him a year or so back. She put a bulldogs sticker on his registration plates, and he drove around in them for quite some time before he realised and probably had a range of emotions (laughter, anger and the like). Wouldn’t it be ironic if he got moved there.

Really happy with the news. Two proven players who most likely are cheap to retain, and can impart wisdom and bring their knowledge to teach the youngsters. Wishing them good health for the offseason and 2026!

Whilst I fully understand it, and not judging at all, our turnout to the game was insipid. I felt like I was very few D’s supporters there. Fingers crossed with new staff for both coaches and players we can get back to strong crowds and support for our team in 2026.

Never suggested he stands up, but you’ll never see him give any less than 100%. He’s never been a player who can drag a team from the depths of hell back to a win, he hasn’t got that kind of impact, but he will lay every tackle possible and dig out every ball he can. I’d have him any day of the week over most of our team as it stands.

Now we have a coaching panel selected, and the incoming CEO saying they’ll select 6-8 possible coaches that will sorted through for our eventual coach; is there a list of coaches we can come up with? Buckley, Hinkley, Hird, Daly, Skipworth, Enright? Any of those in or out or others being considered?

Masterchef judge?

I’d say it’s both. Look at the likes of GWS, Collingwood, Good Coast. They all fight to the death. Then you have teams like us, Carlton, St Kilda (aside from one win against us) who all just give up. It takes a load of mental strength to disregard what’s going on and the score to no matter what fight until the end.

We just have a losing mentality and lack the grit and fight to win out those close games. Viney and Gawn are the few who battle no matter what. New coach needs to work on that, and we go from 7 wins to 12-15 approx if we win just a few close games.
