I listened to the St Kilda pres night speech, their president was great. He said something so strong and bullish and I wish Tim Lamb was like that. He said “we are not here to make friends” and "Recruiting aggressively as we have, no doubt involves a degree of risk ... (but) there is no risk-free way to a flag and indeed, doing nothing is the greatest risk of all," Maybe we should take a page out of their book. Maybe it doesn’t pan out, blows up in the faces and we all have a laugh, but maybe it works and we look like bafoons for not taking risks.

Was just listening to SEN. they had on a Adelaide board member or similar. He mentioned that they would probably have to give up a key forward for Trac. Lyon asked for Thilthorpe which both laughed and shot down. So maybe a key position forward coming our way after all.

I have a feeling the club won’t play hardball owing to the previous seasons, but fingers crossed I am wrong. With Trac we have all the power so should accept literally nothing unless it’s brilliant and McVee can go into the draft.

Sounds like a great deal for us then tbh? Petracca is bloody useless forward and whilst great in midfield and contest, can’t hit a target. I see it as a win.

Yeh i agree, and i understand. I guess it’s just footy though. I got the sense that he thought higher of himself than he is at too, seemed like he thought he was Dan Houston all Australia version. I’m not intending to be spiteful but I don’t think he will get anywhere as much opportunity and be able to shine as much as he did at our club. We certainly made him what he is.

I know people are upset by his move, but a lot acting like we are losing a duel brownlow medalist. We will be fine, he’s a good ball user and one on one player, but we will find someone else. This thread is catching up to Trac and Oliver moving, which I find crazy.
