  1. Scary.. isn’t it. Going to be a hard road for the board to figure out things to get back to 2021 standards, on and off field. They also shouldn’t settle for that and need to push to be one of the big clubs. Unlikely to happen, but settling for mediocrity is not good enough.
  2. I think it doesn’t come down to the thought that a change will fix the issues, it’s more so the fact that what we have is simply not working, and they need change to occur to see if it might fix. Continuing on this path is worse than taking a risk, which may or not pan out.
  3. The club is going to lose SIGNIFICANT amounts of members. Their best monetary decision is to get rid of Goodwin, attempt to keep the members because they’ll lose way more with members dropping off, then Goodwin. It’s probably their only shot to get something out of the team, clearly they aren’t clicking with Goodwin anymore and have no faith.
  4. Same thing I said for the St Kilda game before it had commenced, who cares.
  5. Just a cop out if anyone thinks that Gawn is the only one to organize the players on field, should come down to Viney, Trac, Oliver, Tmac. They have all been there forever. Dearly missing ANB, and Gus.
  6. Don’t wonder about Gawns leadership. He’s just about the best leader this club would have had, it’s ok to have a bad moment on the field. He will forever be this clubs best leader, and best ruck ever. Agree with the rest.
  7. I get your belief, but I’ve seen so many times he’s lost one on one, he rarely wins. He’s never hit the gym, he’s got no shot against like Walker, Thilthorpe, McKay, Curnow, McStay.. the list goes on. He’s not up to it.
  8. Whilst I agree, I think we can skip putting him back. He’s proven not very good there either, we have Hore and Disco who are both better than him, and AMW coming back from injury. Plenty of defenders. Get whatever we can for him.
  9. Been saying that since before they rejected offers, never saw much in him. Quite soft across the field.
  10. Soooo, if they were to bin Goodwin… when? Can we have a poll?
  11. Yep. I’ve got zero [censored] clue why we even have him let alone play him, he’s as weak as a packet of ramen noodles. Give Jefferson or any of the upcoming forwards MUCH NEEDED game time for them to gain experience in gameplay, and match fitness and better opponents. To play Petty forward again is the definition of insanity. It’s proven not to work on countless occasions after working only once against Richmond.
  12. Don’t know who’s running it… Do know something, I’m off to Dan Murphy’s.
  13. And Dan Murphy's.
  14. I am merely a fan, and played footy before 6-6-6 rule, so forgive my ignorance; Who controls the 6-6-6 set up? Players? Coaches? Umpires? Who is to blame for the error and how is it prevented from happening again?
  15. Absolutely… brutal season to watch. Few gems and the rest have gone to water.
  16. What’s there to boycot? We already haven’t been turning up to games.
  17. If he keeps up these performances, I would be ok with his move, which is sad because he was a jet for us. He’s lost himself in this horrible season.
  18. [censored] off Goodwin
  19. Not sure there will be coaching change. Goody said on one of the talk shows or radio, can’t recall, that he is going on weekly walks with the incoming CEO. CEO probably trying to get the lay of the land and Goody probably schmoozing and getting in the good books to make it hard to move him on.
  20. He wants out of Melbourne, not sure it would work.
  21. Just my opinion. Maybe it’s across the board then.
  22. Heard Silvagni is possibly moving to Collingwood, so maybe up for grabs. Wonder if he’s worth a look in for us? I personally think he’s soft and injured a lot but what are your thoughts?
  23. When does the appeal decision have to be made and if so, appeal date?
