Anyone for cricket?
Surprised nobody's commented on the current test where Steve Smith compiled 199 of the Aussie total of 399. Starc came on to bowl in the second over of the Windies innings and missed his hat trick but still got his wicket with the fourth ball of the over - Chandrika caught behind for a duck. They are currently 6/119 with Lyon 3fer.

Dunno about the funny cigarette stuff but you can forget about Mr Leg. Last I heard, they said he was deported from Columbia and is steaming towards Miami where he has an assignation with the Department of Homeland Security on our Queens Birthday. Redleg might consider himself red and blue through and through but by the time those boys get through with him, black and blue might be a more apt description.

Long way from Bogata to Cartagena which is on the coast. I know someone who runs a banana boat up river who is very reliable and claims to have a cousin in something they call "the cartel" who might be able to assist. The contents of the boat would satisfy readers of this thread at least until after the bye.

I agree that it was Starc who ripped them apart in the end but it's a weak tail and credit is due to the entire bowling attack and the fielding. It's interesting that the West Indies' 7th wicket fell off the last ball of a Nathan Lyon over - the 80th of their second innings. The new ball was taken immediately and Johnson bowled a maiden to Holder. The new man Taylor was watching this rather uncomfortably from the bowler's end and was out lbw to Starc first ball of the next. I don't think he could get off the ground quickly enough. A couple of overs later and it was all over with Starc taking consecutive wickets off his last two balls. I think there's always been some controversy about this but am I right in saying that Starc is on a hat trick even though his next over is in a different test?

If you're out there RL, try convincing the ship's captain to change course and steer towards Dominica. You might just catch the end of the First Test with the Aussies headed for victory. If all of the passengers and crew head for the ground at Roseau, the attendance should be quadrupled.

Thanks all for your good wishes. I know where to take him if he ever wants to see an alpaca or visit a home for derelicts As for the name, it hasn't been announced but it's entirely up to the parents. If someone kicks the winning goal tomorrow against Port Adelaide, I will strongly recommend their name for consideration. I rather fancy something like "Heritier".

Aaron vandenBerg
NITV replayed the NT Thunder v Ainslie NEAFL game and unfortunately, vandenBerg played no role in what was to be his last game. I missed the shoulder injury but when I couldn't pick him up I lost interest in the game. Glad our recruiters persevered.
