  1. A special vote of thanks to George who wrote this terrific report under some duress. He received news of his father in law's passing as he was putting on the finishing touches. On behalf of all at Demonland, we send our condolences to the family.
  2. If he told him to go hose his concrete back yard then he gets 10/10 for great humour although some po faced PC types will no doubt freak out at him for offending the Carlton supporter's safe space. These are the times we're living in.
  3. This could be an interesting thread because according to posters on the GAMEDAY thread, there are about 12 candidates for omission while Casey only had 9 MFC listed players in their team yesterday. Best guess - Dom Tyson & Jack Watts in if declared fit.
  4. That's enough for this thread. Further discussion on the Post Game Thread or Changes v Adelaide.
  5. In case anyone has a beef with the umpires, the free kick count at half time is 12 - 7 in our favour.
  6. Quarter time couldn't have come quickly enough. The difference between the teams can be summed up by the ratio of kicks to handballs. They're kicking when a kick is required and we're overdoing the handball. We can still win if Goodwin makes the appropriate adjustment.
  7. Anything happening?
  8. With the Under 18 Championships done and dusted, the experts are reviewing the top draft picks and their chances. First can off the rank is Callum Twomey's Phantom Form Guide - July edition And one potential draft pick's situation is made even more intriguing as a result of the fact that he is not only also a potential elite cricketer of the future but because his father is embroiled front and centre in the cricketing row between the administration and the players and his mother has an important role in football - Draft stocks rising, but will Will stick with footy?
  9. Draft hopeful Seb Williams is the grandson of the late Demon great Don Williams. He's hoping to follow in his footsteps.

  11. Once you take the four or five Demons out of the equation because of MFC duties, the line up starts to look very thin.
  12. Their best defender IMO is Marchbank - he's out injured.
  13. Arrests, serous matters, extortion but no charges laid to this point in time. Be very careful what you write on this thread folks.
  14. A boil over in the U18 champs with the unfancied Allies beating Vic Metro by 3 points. Star was Bendigo Pioneers' Jarrrod Brander representing the Allies.
  15. The Under 18 championships end today - the games are being televised live on Foxtel. But first the wrap up from Round 4 and one of my favourites, Jaidyn Stephenson was outstanding in the Vic Metro win over SA. 17. You're right. It didn't work out well. We're out of here.
  18. On second thoughts ... that one didn't turn out so well did it? Anyway... tonight's the night for the long-awaited season defining victory!!!
  19. It seems a little strange to be thinking in terms of GAMEDAY on a Friday morning when you're about to head off to work but it's real. Game on ... tonight!
  20. The AFL has issued an indicative draft order based on ladder positions after round 11. The remaining 15 points will be taken off the value of their next pick. Indicative draft order: June edition And a couple of fine pieces on the draft - Road to the Draft: Episode 10 U18: Cal Twomey's top-10 draft prospects
  21. U18: Another Dusty on our hands?
  22. At about this time in 1982 -
  23. Who was the fourth member of the panel? The one who said we wouldn't make it.
