  1. It was the mother of S&Gs sessions therefore we can be forgiven for indulging in a S&Gs thread, surely. It didn’t even go for the advertised 30 mins. As he was walking back to the rooms, Salo said, “Thanks for coming for the solid 10-minute session!”
  2. All players are here. I congratulated the debs and as I hugged each one the rest of the boys yelled and clapped, especially for Jeffo, they went nuts. X escaped my clutches but Maxy called him back. Maxy knows: keep the nuffie happy and she’ll leave you alone 😝
  3. Casey boys are out on the park. Noah Ooze and Roy Boy included. Seniors to join them shortly.
  4. Thank you! I’m glad I asked since I would’ve congratulated all of them.
  5. S&Gs this morning, which is ok imo since they’ve trained so hard at Casey this week. Serious question: when congratulating debutants, should they ALL be congratulated, including emergency and sub players?
  6. 😂😂😂 I hope you don’t have a copyright on this coz I’m using it! 😂😂😂
  7. I hear ya, Deeves. The ‘G is indeed a very special place, and not just when games are playing there. I regularly have occasion to be there when there’s nothing on and that’s when the experience is next level spiritual. It’s a beautiful imposing structure and there’s no better sporting venue on the planet. An extra special experience is Sleep at the ‘G in May every year. Wandering around the concourse in the dark is amazing and waking up there is trippy.
  8. Please god the same thing that happened to the scores last night doesn’t happen tonight. For the love of all things good and holy, PLEASE DON’T LET ESSENDON WIN. Amen
  9. Definitely NOT injured. ”Crook in the guts”
  10. Disco out. Crook.
  11. … and when they’re finally 100% injury/niggle-free since January 2022 👍🏽
  12. Was wondering when you’d rear your demanding little head. My dear (but disproportionately superstitious) friend is there but has asked me (begged me, in fact) to not post anything she says. She fully believes in the power of mozzing. True story. Soz. 🤷‍♀️
  13. The fine folks of Coldstream say hi and whaddya mean “nowhere”? 😂
  14. The boys are training at Casey right now. Another serious match sim. Captain’s Run at Gosch’s tomorrow for half an hour beginning at 10am.
  15. Turns 29 this year. 👍🏽 We made Sunday’s banner last night and it’s gonna look AMAZING. I say “gonna” because it’s hard to know how good it looks ‘til seen from afar. Anyways, one side acknowledges Fritta’s milestone with a huge graphic. The other side acknowledges Beyond Bank with some shamrocks strewn around. No Jim graphic. Whatevs 🤷‍♀️ #BigJimmy-ForeverInOurHearts sneak peek:
  16. A goal in it! Who’da thunk?
  17. I wonder if bystanders started up the long Collllliiiinnnnngggwwwooooddd chant or maybe they only use that for when the other driver is lying motionless and unconscious.
  18. I’m surprised it’s not on free-to-air. Just realised it is. You mustn’t have an antenna, right?
  19. Definitely. Before the introduction of opening round the footy-starved masses looked forward to the Carl vs Rich Thursday night season opener, no matter who they support. It wasn’t so much that it’s Carl or Rich, it’s that it’s footy.
  20. All good. It was a driving act. He didn’t expect the other car to change direction. He’ll bring wine and flowers to the other drive tomorrow.
  21. I’m looking forward to Saturday night’s match - the Centrelink Cup - would love to see Port demolish the Pies.
  22. Cados co-hosts the DeeBrief podcast with Adrian.
  23. Yeah I think the pattern will remain as recovery sessions and Captain’s Runs, both being short and light sessions at Gosch’s; and the lengthy, intense sessions at Casey. Depending on what day of the week we play, consecutive days at Casey will happen, which is something that didn’t happen before now. They also have days where they’re in the gym for the whole session, as well as gym sessions following the light training at Gosch’s on some days. Some even have an ice bath immediately following training when it used to be just jumping in the shower. Another new implementation Is… Zooper Doopers after training! 😂
  24. The boys did train at Casey this morning, from about 9:30am until at least midday. It was closed (of course) and apart from a small group of teenage boys who hung around for a while my friend was the only spectator. In stark contrast to yesterday’s S&Gs love-fest, today’s session was serious af. Very intense, no mucking around whatsoever. I don’t have her notes (not sure if she made any) but we spoke briefly on the phone and she made a point of saying she doesn’t think The Bison will get a guernsey this Sunday based on the fact that for the entire match sim he was wearing the “B team” vest, a grey vest, but it could’ve been pink and purple polka dots coz clearly she’s colour blind, amirite @Beetle 😂 Training tomorrow is also at Casey, a similar session to today’s or so she was told by the property volunteer. Obviously Casey is where the real stuff happens and two such sessions in as many days says we’re deadly serious. imho anyways.
