I am very interested to see what the Dons get back for Merrett, especially if they take anything that could be deemed as unders.

I feel like if we desperately wanted Humphries (which I hope we do), it may have to be a straight swap, with maybe steak knives going both ways. They also won’t let him go for unders unless he forces the Suns hand, which is unlikely. Still a lot to play out.

Kozzy is as good in the middle as in the forward line. Vines will never give up, Duke Windsor can slot straight in as well. We have Bowza too who I believe is as good or very close to the level of Flanders. I think if Kolt improves his tank he can play midfield too. If we can target another young mid say a McKenzie from the Hawks, we will be okay for the future. Even better if we can get Bailey who is now top priority.

I believe there is a world where we get Luke Pedlar + 1st Rounder back in a Petracca trade. I feel like we will ask for players, and if we don’t get Flanders then I could see this happening. Edit: Not saying I’d be happy with this scenario, but it could very possibly happen.
