  1. Head turner? More like quick glance over the shoulder..
  2. Yes. https://www.wheeloratings.com/afl_player_profile.html?id=2dc076
  3. 73.0% kicking efficiency across his career.
  4. Oakes had the opportunity to completely shut this down. He did not. Sounds as though it is going to be very difficult to get over the line but the door stays ever so slightly ajar.
  5. Bailey ‘Moonchild’ Humphrey.
  6. The silence from @Demon Forever is even more worrying.
  7. FTB replied to SthSea22's topic in Melbourne Demons
    No.
  8. Humphrey and Rogers would be an outstanding coup for the club. Steele? Yeah, nah.
  9. Bailey Humphrey plays for GC and his name is clearly spelt in the title of this thread. Lawson Humphries plays for Geelong. There is no player in the AFL with the surname Humphreys. Thank you.
  10. If we end up with this guy and pick 7 for Trac, I think I’ll spew 🤢
  11. All-in on Humphrey now.
  12. Just based on a bit of logic. Had Trac chosen Adelaide, one would imagine landing Flanders and/or Humphrey would be a much trickier proposition.
  13. Humphrey and/or Flanders well and truly in the frame now.
  14. Forget about Windhager. He’s staying at the Saints.
  15. Flanders thrived at GC in a midfield role during the backend of 2023 and then in a half-back role for most of 2024. Too many players at GC pushed him out of those positions - Anderson, Rowell and Touk in the midfield. Then Rioli, Powell, Noble and Jeffrey in defence. His role this season hasn’t been great at all. No doubt if he came to us he would easily slot in to a midfield or half-back role and I think he would be very good on either position. Hopefully the King link gets him to nominate us.
  16. It’s a big yes from me. Mids that can excel both offensively and defensively don’t grow on trees. Still so young too so plenty of room for improvement. Hopefully we get it done.
  17. Just Lindsay in for Sharp. Best of luck Disco and T Mac, you’re gonna need it! Looking forward to us returning to the ‘G after two weeks at that soulless stadium which I refuse to set foot in. Will be there in full voice - win, lose or draw.
  18. OUT: May (susp), Jefferson (omit), Tholstrup (omit), Sharp (omit) IN: Adams, Johnson, Sparrow, Petty Petty as sub and can replace either a fwd or back depending on how they’re performing. Johnson on the back of 5 goals in the VFL to provide the ruck chop-out with JVR used solely as a forward.
  19. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - Jefferson is not AFL standard and never will be.
  20. Sorry, seen enough of Jefferson to know he ain’t it. Slow, soft and just not up to AFL standard. It’s Weideman all over again unfortunately. If the FD thinks Kentfield is up to it then happy to see how he goes at AFL level, otherwise Petty to come in for Jeffo. Spargo in for Tholstrup and surely Windsor is a better option than Sharp.
