  1. Another one people probably won’t be happy with. Has us taking: 5: Reid 9: Armstrong
  2. Last week Cal T. said we would take whatever mid gets through, at 5.
  3. Still hoping North are forced to keep Pick 2, to give us more options.
  4. On Gettable this week, Cal T. said that every team from pick 8 onwards were looking at taking him.
  5. This is not a bad video. I’m assuming people won’t be happy with the picks though. He has us taking: 5) Armstrong 9) Reid
  6. Good news, we needed change. Will be interesting to see the reviews now.
  7. I suspected this might be the case. Tauru to me seems like a JT pick. If it’s just a message we are putting out & not reality, it could cause North to take him at 2, and we get another mid to pick from at 5.
  8. So I just watched "Gettable" (Cal T.), so you can take the info to the bank. Dees: Considering Tauru in top 10 Armstrong has been linked to our 2 picks 6 certainties in top 10: Lalor Ashcroft FOS Langford Draper Smith Very, very likely: Smillie Tauru Very Possible Lombard Kako Reid Allan Travaglia Is Armstrong more likely for 5 or 9? At 5: it would be midfield options, who can get through: Lalor FOS Smith Langford Draper At 9: He (Armstrong) may well be gone already Allan Travaglia (who every club is liking from pick 8 onwards)
  9. Not sure how much is in this but anyway..
  10. Who do you have at 3? FOS?
  11. Hopefully he slips to 5, because of his lack of speed.
  12. It's easy. Leak that we are definitely taking Tauru if available at 5. The North/Richmond trade is then pointless. Tauru goes at pick 2. We pick a gun mid at 5. Easy.
  13. I’d be happy with this result: 5) Jagga 9) Tauru
  14. I would be happy with any of Lalor/Smith/Langford, but would not be surprised if we take Tauru at “5”. Just seems like a possible JT pick to me.
  15. I could see us taking The Viking over Armstrong.
  16. AFL Draft Expert (Chris Doerre ESPN/Knightmare) @AFLDraftExpert With the quality of Hawkins, Dixon, Daniher, Brown, Reid, Casboult all retired and Taberner presumably not getting another go, expect clubs from this draft and in future drafts and trade periods to start overpaying for key forwards.
  17. https://www.heraldsun.com.au/subscribe/news/1/?sourceCode=HSWEB_WRE170_a_GGL&dest=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.heraldsun.com.au%2Fsport%2Fafl%2Fdraft%2Fdraft-intel-latest-2024-afl-draft-news-from-around-australia%2Fnews-story%2Fbe41ada4dfdad2f27032f89474832fc1&memtype=anonymous&mode=premium&v21=GROUPA-Segment-1-NOSCORE Can someone please summarise what they are saying about the potential Pick 2 swap.
  18. For whatever reason, we were linked to Jefferson from day one.
  19. If we’re not taking the Viking at 5, we have to make out like we are. That way, if North want him, they can’t trade with Richmond, and have to take him at 2. This leaves us with an extra top 5 ranked player to pick from, probably another gun mid.
  20. Can someone please put up a summary of this? https://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl-draft-2024-every-clubs-picks-and-the-young-stars-they-could-land-in-november/news-story/f0e39a7d1c1249d02db1b4ae351ed705?amp
  21. On today’s episode of Gettable, Cal said we would be looking at Lalor, FOS, Langford or Jagga if they were still available. If not he listed a second rung of mids, including Allan, Smillie and others. He said we could fit a gun young mid into our team.
  22. Can’t remember exactly, but I think it’s only like a couple of days before the draft. He does start to talk/write about who he thinks will go where earlier though.
  23. We tried to trade up twice last year, and have done so in previous years.
  24. If there is someone we really want, trade pick 9 for GWS 15 & 16. Then trade GWS 15/16 & 5 for pick 2. Leaving us with 2 & 15/16. When we traded for 9, Cal T. did say that he definitely thought we would trade more with our picks.
