  1. Everything you’ve listed is fine but you want more than that out of a first rounder, particularly in a rebuild, pick 13 is not a role player
  2. This is the big miss in hindsight, but we were never going to take him considering we’d used two first rounders in two years on key forwards, so it’s understandable
  3. Feels like the trade up itself was the biggest mistake. I always felt like we were either hoping to get Windsor with that pick 13 or we were trying to package it up in part of a deal with WCE Harley Reid.
  4. If you take a look at the 2023 draft, there’s literally four players I’d take after Tholstrup’s pick, not including academy or father sons, it’s an incredibly weak looking year so far.
  5. I’ll also add- JVR looks a different player, in fact I didn’t even realise it was him until halfway through the session because he is moving so much smoother, he looks lighter and more agile, think last year he was too heavy and that was part of the issue, running really well
  6. Novice track watcher here but was a bit of an ordinary session? Not a whole lot to take out of it or be impressed by. Not sure what I was expecting but felt a bit flat and skills were average. Granted, Ricky Mentha suprised me and could get games on the wing/half forward this year, looks like he’s really improved. Good number of players out on the park, the few in rehab don’t look far away at all so I think we’re doing well in that area.
  7. Thanks for the great report, not great reading for Tholstrup 😬 Jefferson looks really good in the video the club uploaded, a few may have gone too early on him (Including me) !
  8. This is appreciated actually, the idea that everyone is just training the house down is unrealistic, good to get a different perspective because let’s be honest we’ve finished 14th two years in a row now, it’s good to hear what we need to improve on instead of just some fluff piece
  9. Lol he’s just been drafted what do you expect?
  10. Who cares? What’s that got to do with his role in the side in 2026? Pat on the back because of a game he played in five years ago? Chandler is a better player in 2026 and that’s all that matters
  11. Both Picketts were not at training yesterday, no sign of XL either, so not sure where you’re getting this from
  12. Doesn’t feel like he has any weapons, not sure what the recruiters saw in him, but can’t put a line through him yet, too early
  13. Is Xavier Taylor out there today? Thanks
  14. Clayton’s not been traded for wins grandpa, he’s been traded because it was the best thing culturally, and to open up spots for young guys in the midfield. People were calling for Sam Mitchell’s head when he traded O’Meara and Tom Mitchell at Hawthorn, looks like a genius now as it opened up spots for young guys and now they’re in flag contention, that took a couple of years, we’ll go down before we come up again, don’t have to be a genius to figure out the approach King is taking
  15. No news = good news? If he was leaving we would've known by now?
  16. Time well spent 👏
  17. Well, I do not like the sounds of that… Bloody foot injuries. Also took them over a week to diagnose Bowey, I’ll have my fingers crossed until X is back in full training only then will we really know, thanks for your update
  18. Bowey Gawn Turner Lindsay Langford Melksham Viney Bowey Langdon CJ (?)
  19. So about a 1/3 of our best 22 not main training? Great…
  20. Agree, you miss a chunk of pre season and there’s no way you get back to your best that same year
  21. I think the succession plan left for the Tassie Devils? Todd Patterson
