Weitering and TDK will not be leaving Princes Park, they are aiming for a flag in Navy Blue. Martin and Marchbank might be off loaded when all the sums are done, both quite talented but simply haven't had enough time actually playing with repeated injury setbacks.

Clarry has done enough for MFC to deserve some breathing space to get back on track. Get a proper pre-season into him and hopefully he gets back to what he was next year.

A few months ago you would have penciled this in as a percentage booster for the Dees but alas not so now. How quickly things can change in season. I would give him rest of the season to right the SS Demons. Its one thing to lose games and still be competitive but the Freo and Collongwood games were far from that. Yesterday, the only realy positives were Jacob van Rooyen, who may now be coming of age as a forward and ANB who did a real number on Nick Daicos, impressive effort. After Trac copped it in the ribs I knew there was very little hope the Dees could beat the Pies yesterday.

The Filth are getable with quite a few outs. The Dees just need to get back to what they know, what they are good at and what made them a feared opponent for the rest of the league in the last 3-4 years. They are a mid-table side with a relatively easy draw. That was my opinion of them before last night and even more after last night. Their "edge" isn't as sharp as they thought.
