How Many Weeks For Kozzy?
In the past Kossie deserved his suspensions. Not this one, there was no malicious intent. A hip and shoulder on a 6ft 8" Darcy Moore looks very different when he dips down to fist the ball at ground level. I don't believe he was concussed. Did they confirm Moore did a HIA and did not pass that?

Goodwin is the MAN!
Lloyd on the Sunday Footy Show just now was saying that Goodwin needs to be able to present a plan internally to the club how he and the team can evolve and challenge again next season, to sell some optimism and if he thinks he can stick with his old game plan the board should find another coach right now. Fair call I say.

Dan Houston
And have great lawyers 😁 Apparently Dan Houston is good mates with Jack Silvagni FWIW. Ultimately if Port are asking too much, interest will cool.

RIP Sam Landsberger
Sad news, the sudden nature of it is tragic. He was a good footy journo. RIP.

Jake Lever was just on SEN and poured plenty of cold water on assorted Tracc rumours ...

Garry Lyon brilliant!
Yes, but it went on for longer.

Garry Lyon brilliant!
I caught it tonight. Gary was indeed flying the red & blue flag tonight 😁

I watched it on tv and thought to myself "Tracc isn't right, he shouldn't be playing". I have no medical background and just very average insights into footy as an ordinary footy fan. Subsequent events showed that it was indeed the wrong call to have him out there ...

A sprinkling of fine Noosa sand 🏖

Agree 100% ... so many eager to turn on Tracc when we all know his injury situation was really badly mishandled. A diplomacy offensive is required, not throwing stones his way.

Premiership Hero Ben Brown Retires
No. He should run out with the team or have a presentation at HT. Should be aiming to beat Collingwood on Friday. Need the best side out there!

NON-MFC: Round 23
If the Blues pile on some more goals in the last quarter, it will probably seal Collingwood's fate 😃

NON-MFC: Round 23
Enjoying the intensity and team work of the Blues in the first 2 quarters, probably the best they have played for 2 months. Who are these Curnow, McKay, Saad, De Koning guys people were talking about? 😁

If they grew up south of the Swan River, they are likely to be Freo supporters.

POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Gold Coast
A 54 point win sgainst the Suns up there is a drubbing. Gold Coast are tough to play against when they are at home. The Dees looked quite fit and had a lot of run ... maybe they did load for September? 😁 Viney, Disco, Langdon, JVR, Petty, Kolt and Melksham (as sub) all had a good game. Not looking like a club imploding ...

Farewell Alex Neal-Bullen
LOL ... the Norwood Demons 😈 It is a loss that ANB wants a trade to S.A. he is one of those clubman types that always puts in. But in time, someone else will step up to fill his shoes. Given he stipulates a trade to S.A. it is not a question of him leaving due to behind the scenes issues, sometime we have personal circumstances where family has to come first. Good luck to him for the rest of his footy career!

I would be expecting Tracc to be next MFC Captain. Of course he would be frustrated where the Dees are this season and how his injury was (mis)handled but I suspect this recent 'news' this is more a media beatup than anything else If Tracc really was that fed up and desperately wanted to leave the Dees, can I pitch to him the 3054 postcode. Carlton would win a flag with him! But I expect to see him notch up 200 games in the red & blue next season 😊

NON-MFC: Round 22
Against Collingwood when he came off, Carlton's attack actually improved because it was no longer a one dimensional open book and players were looking who is free rather than the default setting of bomb it on top of Charlie's head, when he is always surrounded by multiple defenders. I was at the MCG today, it was a trainwreck for the Blues! Worst performance in quite a few years. The Hawks were awesome BTW, playing like Carlton did late last year. If Carlton can't beat West Coast and St Kilda, they have no place being in the 8 in 2024, simple as that. Then its a case of licking wounds, culling some of the list (and football department) and going again in 2025. It is still a squad that has the core of a potential Premiership side, but it won't be happening this year. The perpetually injured players simply need to be culled, some of them have talent but they are list cloggers due to to availability issues.
