We cant trade our first pick. So its going to be used, P1, 2 or 3 at this stage.

The club is lost. Its sick, its in no mans land. Fancy showing interest in Alex Keith.. hey here is an idea.. show some interest in someone who can run and spread and has lovely skills. The club is spiraling out of control at the moment.. better get out of this spin, otherwise we will crash land and the recovery will be horrendous.

ANd i got shot down about teh lack of review after teh Prelim final loss.. people saying of course they reviewed it.. well if they did, they did a shocking job..

Lets be honest, we are every chance to get the Wooden spoon. So Pick 1 is a blinding reality. We need to somehow get 2 picks inside the top 10. So how does that happen. Who is tradeable.. who will get us a top 10 pick? is everyone tradeable? is Brayshaw someone who will get us a top 10 pick? might he get us 2 picks, a first rounder and a second rounder? Before everyone says I am an idiot, have a think about it.. we are not trading Oliver, or Gawn, Trac wouldn't get us a top 10 pick.. the reality is, we dont have anyone else. Also, i am off Angus right now, i think he is a care free footballer who is tarding on a good year last year, so its pretty raw at the moment. Obviously i dont want to trade him, but its just an excercise in stock.. its thin.

And with out wanting to shoot Bambi (or her mum to be more accurate as no one ver shot bambi) Nev is not the future, he is slow and alsmo st done. Vanders foot may never recover, and Melk is a fwd who average less than .75 goals per game. The list needs a reset.. and it will need to happen smartly next year. I fully believe we will get the wooden spoon so at least a gun is coming our way.

This entire club needs to have a deep dive in to what has happened. Its embarrassing on so many levels.. We are being coached in an awful manner.. why is it that every person on outside the club can see we are not playing the type of footy that is suited to where our list is at? play fast, manic footy and tehn get it and kick it into the fwd line to no one.. slow it down, covet the footy for a while.. its just amatuer hour. Glad we have Craig Jennings that genius in teh box helping Goodwin out.. total shambles. We have been prepared awfully.. a total inability to cover the ground, we have a back 6 with 5 blokes who cannot run out of sight on a dark night, every one knew we need pace and spread and skill.. we go and draft inside mids again.. draft 2 small fwds.. who cant get a game. 2 years in a row,w e have drafted slow inside mids. Im fed up with the club, im fed up with the players, all they do is talk.. and a lot of that is to the opposition.. when was the last time you can remember out team having a scuffle? Hunt with Sicily is the only one i can really remenber.. we ave no edge, no desire, no mongrel.. Brayshaw and Oliver are to busy wanting to chat to their opponent and have a laugh. I am fed up with footy.

we were no good this year with him when he was playing.. its not one payer, although i admit he is sorely missed. This year is a disaster.. no more sugar coating it. we drafted the wrong players, we mismanaged players, we over rated some players, we were sloppy in reviews. Anyway you look at it.. this has been an embarrassing club performance and one i have mentioned in another thread.. we are so far off being a professional club and the results are pretty stark.

Really.. its time to move on, i know Billy and Garry have.

Really, there a few that couldn't play as worse as they did last week, Oliver finds a way to bounce back after a bad game, and that was a bad game. Brayshaw is struggling, but if he can find a bit of form, it makes us better. I though Jack Viney was one of our best last week, his year has been about continuity.. he is starting to get that. Hibberd, and Salem sure up defence and ball use, but most importantly Hannan moves around, he gets on his bike, he separates and opens up the fwd line.. that's what helps our usage going inside. Its no coincidence that without him our entries have been poor. Im not saying we win, but every role player we get back makes our other players better.

Jake leaver player 60% game time in his return, then played a half last week before rolling his ankle. In what world would any other club bring back there star recruit after a year off with his second Knee reconstruction this early, regardless of what situation the club is in This is a desperate club right now that is clinging onto the "stars returning will change our year" narrative. The year is done, we may win a few more games( i still think we will finish bottom 4 - our % is woeful) but its cooked. Dont rush back your stars they are valuable commodities, so why not take the opportunity to get them going before throwing them back into the mire of the senior side.

Lewis has a history undisciplined acts, and has let us down on more than one occasion. i think its perfectly fair to be disappointed in his actions. Plus there is sticking up for people and then there is throwing punches. I have been a defender of him, 2 years was a good fit, but he should never have played on into this year.

This is a game and an environment where you need clean players mor ethan ever.. So Jeffy is a must to stay in. ANB should not come back in for this reason.. he cant handle a dry ball, same as Stretch. The ball will spend a lot of time on the deck, play smalls, dont get sucked in. Keep Tim Smith, Weid needs another game of form for mine.

So,so sad. Such a lovely family.. prayers with the entire Green family. The footy community is at its best when these things happen.

We must draft a player that can come in and play straight away.. we could have 7-8 vacancies on the list next year, that is enough. Lets draft a player that can inject some skill in to this horrible team. Find the the player with the best foot skills and draft him.

So this year is clearly done, if it wasn't already, But some players that are just not up to it and will never make it in my opinion: The No good: Petty - No Instinct, nothing stands out about him Stretch - Panics with ball in hand, not quick.. no redeeming features Oscar - he is just not very good Corey wagner - tries hard - but thats it. add to these players right on the line of no good: T Smith - i like him, but he cant get a run at it. Charlie Spargo - Whats his specialty? needs to kick 2 plus a game i reckon Jay Lockhart - hard to say really Josh wagner - i think he is ok.. but just ok. add theses to players horrendously out of form: Tom McDonald - all year but we have to play him.. bit is it time to rest him Angus Brayshaw - complete and utter breakdown of what he was and more importantly how we use him. Nathan Jones - He is done. its brutal, but he is. Bailey Fritsch - Plays AFLX, and somehow has never been the same. Jeff Garlett - i dont expect him to be the bloke who hits players hard, but he is struggling and the forward line at the moment is a shambles. So that's 13 players from yesterdays game that just can't and are not playing AFL standard footy. What hope do we have. Also at some stage it would have been nice to see Goodwin put Oliver at FF and clear the 50 out. Also hats happened to the Genius that was Craig Jennings? i mean surely the wraps he got last year means he shouldn't be immune to criticism.. if our players were bad yesterday, they were supported bu a shocking day in the coaches box.. a situation that has been evident a lot this year.

I hope not. Weid has not earned a recall not even close. Tim Smith competes, he marks, he puts pressure on. Right now he is more important to our game that Weid. Weid will get there but is the sort of player that has to be up and about.

It was a classic Jeffy game, really clean, opportunistic, creative, a bit timid and frustrating lazy misses. You get it all and you have to accept the ordinary because the good is very good.

Thank God, i would much rather converse with people on here that are not just trying to point score and have a fight for the sake of it. Go Dees.
