Forward line fix?
And I didn't read that. Win: win.

TRAINING: Monday 12th May 2025
Your run-of-the-mill golf pro will want to record your swing (scary!) for $60/30min. Makes the description of goal kicking rather amateurish.

PREGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
Sharp was OK with limited time. Kolstrup marginal but up and coming. Fullerton out. Verrall. in, mainly as a backup ruck. Saw Casey struggle as against Giants. I take more notice of when Casey is under pressure. JVR was ordinary unlike Verrall. Laurie, Billings and Sestan got a lot of ball but their disposal was scrappy under pressure.

2025 MRO & Tribunal
2 weeks and/or OAM, F C Karma, jumped up and bit Darcy Moore on the arrrrse. Intentional, high impact, low contact.
-
Tom Fullarton
He doesn't want the ball! He should be made to by playing him at fullback at Casey or at FF with the ball bombing on his head.
-
NON-MFC: Round 07
his day job is ruck-coach and was not expected to be called up.

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs Richmond
Two turnovers by Rivers and a missed push-out by Nankervis took the gloss off a bit but a Massive win 🤪

2025 MRO & Tribunal
It was deliberate! "Careless", is a short step and a negligent act by the MRP.

Which quarter/s IS it?
For once, this need not be a matter of opinion. The players can be hooked up while on the exercise bike. A good question for the Board to ask.
-
Tom Fullarton
AJ did very little in the AFL.

The Luke Beveridge Thread
I alternately think that he doesn't rate defending. If the Bulldog defenders had been tighter on Fritsch and others, they would have another premiership. Then, next year, he was moaning about the close attention that his forwards were receiving; ironic due to my point above. 2021 - 2023 when MFC defended them out of the corridor. He had no answer.

What gets you excited about the club?
Casey at a convenient location and time.. Watch the new guys for three quarters. Watch the seniors for 2 1/2 and slink out.

Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
It is a conflict of interest for those participating in the making of the decision. They would have a natural desire to look after someone that they know. They would be tempted to make DLers smile by picking one of their favourites.

Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
That would be a conflict of interest for the selection panel

Letter from Brad Green
Basically says that the Board cares a lot. We were sort of expecting that.

NON-MFC: Round 05
Fight, fight, fight. Would love to have Culpepper;

Time to go Goody?
Daniher was not sacked. He was told that other applicants would also considered for the MFC job. I would have insisted that he finish the year at least. He may have eventually succeeded with his new gameplan. In any case, a temporary coach turns out to be pointless., barring Roos. Curiously, Balme was also introducing a new gameplan saying the players needed to throw the ball around more.
-
Tom Fullarton
On the other hand, JVR has no upside w.r.t height. He will remain stuck on 193 cm. Fullarton at 200 cm will disrupt the opposition's defence. JVR, Melksham and Fritsch are leading forwards Their selection as the tall forwards has the odour of a finals match.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
A reasonable response to MFC hawking him around without prior consultation. MFC signalled that did not feel bound by the freely-entered contract. It is also ducking thr responsibility for offering over-long contracts.
-
The James Worpel Thread
Worpel has been out all year with with a syndesmosis injury in the foot This injury has kept MFC players out for a year plus.

New coach prospects
The chance that the best candidate played for MFC, is 1 in 18. Consider the criticism of Nathan Jones. And Schwab, Chris Connoly, etc.
