  1. My comment here is not specifically on King. Is more about the plan for the future structure of our talls in the fwd 50.
  2. Intercept mark in the dying seconds of the match
  3. It does make me physically ill to imagine Hawkins retiring to be then replaced with Ben King ... 😡😡
  4. Let's say in two years both TMac and BBB are retired. You'd have enough space for them two plus hopefully our new KPF.
  5. It was from SEN, take it with a grain of salt.
  6. Even if we have a successful 2023, the reality is that both BBB and TMac have expiration dates. You'd expect the club to plan long term, as we have done with the midfield.
  7. So I read on Twitter that apparently Geelong may be targeting Ben King in the next off season. Geelong seems to have very deep pockets and no salary cap 🤬🤬🤬 Got to say I am a bit annoyed that the MFC is not linked (at least in the media) to high profile KPF like B King. Not saying the rumours are 100% true or a certainty, but it would be nice to know what is the plan to improve our FWD line. In my opinion is the one area where the club will need major improvements in the next couple of years. BBB and TMac are entering the twilight of their careers.
  8. It looks like Freo will be out in the market looking for a KPF at the end of the season. Do they even have any assets/capital to trade for a decent full forward??? 🤔🤔 What if they target Naughton ? What would the WB demand?
  9. Can't stop thinking that the best scenario for all parties involved was for Jackson to help the club to trade with WC. That would've given us a top pick, he would go home, no pressure like in Freo and he could develop his footy in the next 2 or 3 years, knowing WC is not in a rush to win it all.
  10. King Clarry 👑 One of the reasons I started following the Dees upon my arrival to the Oz land.
  11. Usually it's up within the hour, at least in my experience.
  12. Gents Can you comment on why we don't use a Rivers or Sparrow to kick for goal ? We often find our smalls (ANB or Spargo) marking the ball just inside the 50 arc and we would be better at hand balling to Sparrow/Rivers to try to score. Those can kick long. I have seen many opportunities wasted because unfortunately our smalls don't have the power to kick for goal from long distances. Thanks.
  13. Sparrow? Kozzy?
  14. Losing to West Coast in the Derby would be the last nail in the coffin for their finals aspirations.
  15. They almost gave that last deliberate to Freo to have a kick after the siren 🤬🤬
  16. I am pretty sure they already confirmed Salem is at least 2 weeks before he can play at all (most likely will start at VFL level).
  17. I knew I was missing someone , yes he could help at the ruck as JVR to a lesser extent.
  18. What about disposal efficiency?
  19. Who do we think could come in from Casey? I can only think of JVR, Dunstan, Disco and Pig. After tonight we may see a couple of them in the list against the Swans.
  20. Well we are definitely a bit short on defence at the moment. May, Petty.... Maybe Disco could cover one of them but I am hoping May is back next week
  21. JVR for TMac next week!!!! Who's with me???
  22. And potentially Petty injured as well 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
