Can't the coaches send the message to Max that he is a subpar forward? He should be aware of his deficiencies and shortcomings in his game, and not try to over do it.

Expect Simon Premiership Goodwin to shock next week selecting one of Tmac or BBB (both probably underdone and/or past it).

Goodwin's got two more years on his contract, doesn't he? Hard to know if the club would actually sack him.

In hindsight we should've waited untill after the finals,based on the results of last finals Goodwin didn't earn the extension.

For starters, use JVR he is much better than Schache.

They could be great come Rd23, but we are not talking about potential. Yesterday they were the better of two very mediocre teams.

Because Sydney are not that good, honestly a better team would have smashed us.

A lot of our minds are slow not sure why. Petraca bad at tackling on open field. Clarry not running hard enough when we turn over the ball. Sparrow similar. Who's our explosive and quick mid? Kozzie?

Has to be Goodwin's last year if he can't deliver at least one finals win IMO. For as much as people think our list may be a bit overrated, I personally don't think so, it's still one of the best.

When is his current contract due?

At the very least you have to question how come Goodwin kept our so called fwd coach?

Isn't that concerning that we keep dishing out putrid games like Brisbane and Essendon last year? For a bonafide premiership contender that is a very bad look. In our best years under Goodwin (2018 and 2021) I can't recall any such bad losses.

If true (to be happy with 3-3) concerning at the least, not what you want to hear from team that aspires to fight for a premiership.

This, Petraca and Oliver are not good defensively and our premiership coach hasn't fixed that for years now.

Imagine professional players earning close to a million a year complaining about a bit of dew...

Honestly, we have a good list overall. If Goodwin is no longer the coach we need a change may not be bad at all.
