  1. Not hugely but it will add to the narrative of our poor crowds this year. fwiw I think there will be at least 20K of us there.
  2. Not amazing, mainly because provisional members don’t have access in mcc. Looks like a 60k crowd. 70 would be a brilliant effort will be very interesting to see how full (empty) the level 1 Richmond member reserved area seating is.
  3. Demon army put a post out for ticketing this week. They have all of bay m33 so if you are interested sitting level 1 and only with Melbourne supporters book through this link. More info on their Facebook page. https://www.trybooking.com/BYYPP
  4. Saints got 18k, would hate to be less Than that. Haven’t seen the members this empty in a long time, must all be in Mornington.
  5. I sit 2a in the afl reserve though. There will be no seats on 2a available in general public for this game coz it’s all reserved seats areas for Richmond members.
  6. Level 4 AFL was definitely open against Essendon, its shut tonight. Level 2A for me always though.
  7. There is walk up in MCC tonight. 25K will be a brilliant crowd all things considered.
  8. Apologies for autocorrect, now changed to ticketek. Basically Richmond reserved seat bays are M50-M57 M1-3 M5-M6 M10-M15 and all level 2 and 2A in GSS and Olympic. Unfortunately for this game they didn't allow you to select your own bay. M7-M9 sold out in the general public on sale very fast, suspect a lot of melbourne home and away members will be sat there. They put on m28-M36 in the Ponsford opening up each bay at a time and are currently at M35. Those are the only Level 1 tickets available to non away game members, there will be a lot of us sitting there. Looks about a 60K crowd to me, if both us and richmond win today it might top 70K.
  9. A few reasons: You can go on ticketek and see what they are selling as reserved. MCC is a huge tell for our games whether it will crack 70K and because to is Category 1 they only at row s level 4 on a few bays Pax number on ticket Is the biggest give away. AFL reserve also barely sold anything on level 4 and haven't sold out level 1
  10. "good sides get rewarded with prime time" [censored] off afl. Melbourne Fremantle is currently 1st v 3rd. Richmond are bang average and Sydney arent great. I know we aren't on because its two smaller clubs.
  11. Reckon you can lock in North sunday 1:10 and Freo Saturday 2:10. Expect a lot of our last 10 games are gonna be Friday/Sat nights. Brisbane twice, Geelong, Dogs, Carlton, Sydney, Fremantle over there, potentially even pies round 21.
  12. some time this week according to HS
  13. Its quite funny to see that our supporter base prefers non prime time spots. Maybe years and years of comfort with the 2:10 slot have made it preferable and easier to get home in the country? Reckon we will get our best crowd in terms of crowd expectation against the Saints in the Sunday 1:10 slot. I don't care, Id be there if it wax an 11pm game coz I'm crazy.
  14. Ticket sales have been really poor for Anzac eve, dont worry if you have to wait till tomorrow morning, there will be plenty of level 1 seats. Also remember, the demon army will be in the Ponsford (M33) which will probably have a lot of GA areas in it. Doubt it will come close to 70K this year.
  15. Petty Lever and Hibberd all seem to be in the 4-6 black hole. Only the club refuses to use the term 4-6 any more. Its now the "they'll be right next week" nonsense claim.
  16. I'm an afl member with club support so I have my level 2A seat every game basically hehe. But for Anzac Eve I suspect you will find that level 1 in the Ponsford will either all be GA or plenty of available reserved seating. There will be plenty of red and blue there for an away game. Also, bays M5-M8ish aren't in Richmond's reserved seat areas so you will also be able to reserve seats there. Crowds are still well down this year so wouldn't be surprised if Anzac Eve doesn't crack 70K, especially if Richmond aren't good. QB will be a similar story I suspect
  17. They hold back some of the better bays until closer to the game. M54 only went on sale two days before the game which is the best bay in the olympic stand for non reserved members and not alcohol free bays. Similar things happen with level 2 corporate allocations that go unused.
  18. Of the 50K who have signed up I'm going that half are either AFL, MCC or reserved seat holders. So I think around 75K is both accurate and a good effort considering a Wednesday night and Im not expecting there to be more than 10K bulldogs fans. For context Carlton Richmond has sold 75k so they will get close to 90K tomorrow.
  19. update for GA areas. Also 59k tickets sold as of this morning plus however many GA Melbourne members scan in on night. Great Southern Stand M5-M9 Q1-Q15 1/2 Ponsford Stand M28-M32 M35-M36 Q28-Q33 Olympic Stand Q49-Q51 (rows T-MM) Q52-55 (rows K-MM) AFL Reserve M27 (rows J-Z) (alcohol-free area) Q15 1/2- Q19 (rows K-DD) Q20-Q28
  20. MCC sold out, so they've opened up bays in the Ponsford stand to be part of MCC. Not seen them do that before. Hopefully crack 70K
  21. Just for bulldogs game, they are on mcg website and put up about 5 days before any game.
  22. I posted this in the game day thread as well, but here are the general admission areas. Get in nice an early and head straight for M5-M7 imo. Great Southern Stand M5-M7 Q1-Q12 Q13-Q15 1/2 (rows K-DD) Ponsford Stand M28-M32 Q28-Q36 Olympic Stand Q49-Q52 (rows T-MM) Q53-55 (rows K-MM)
  23. Demon Army said its at 6:30
  24. They have currently sold 48K seats including MCC which is going to sell out and AFL. I'm guessing 70K with all the GA members scan in on the night.
  25. For those wondering if there will be GA seating, there is plenty. The email from the AFL related to afl members only regarding reserving seats. Great Southern Stand M5-M7 Q1-Q12 Q13-Q15 1/2 (rows K-DD) Ponsford Stand M28-M32 Q28-Q36 Olympic Stand Q49-Q52 (rows T-MM) Q53-55 (rows K-MM)
