  1. I was in year 12 in 2018 and remember seeing the queues through Yarra Park at 3:30
  2. Most of Level 1 is walk up anyway, just get there a bit early next Friday, get your ticket and then go for dinner or something.
  3. Good to see quite a good uptake of MCC reserved seats, Level 4 looks to be above row CC for at least half the bays.
  4. I have posted it in the Fill the G thread about an hour ago. Can also find it on the MCG website
  5. You will not get a priority ability to select seats in trident/legends/redlegs areas. But you will hopefully be able to select your bay - which may be where your reserved seats normally are, the below image is how the categories will be allocated and we will get around 75% of the bays. In finals both teams get 50% of seats in theory but they will give us more like they gave us more against geelong in 2018.
  6. The email the club sent you about an hour ago is the one that you will use tomorrow (unless you are an AFL member like me and you just use your normal barcode). If you struggle with the ticketek system, maybe head down to a ticketek agency and just let the employee put your barcode in and tell them which category you want
  7. Look up AFL finals ticket prices freeze and it will show you the categories and respective prices
  8. 65K will be a good result. 58K against the dogs in Round 1 with 45K of us there was the vast majority of Melbourne supporters who would consider going to a game.. Expect that to be around 50K for finals and the Swans will bring between 15-20K of their own TBH, [censored] me people already giving reasons why they can't go in the fill there g thread.
  9. Sam Weideman's problem isnt his brain, he just doesnt have the heart unfortunately
  10. Easily solution, get Hunt to break his leg again like 2017. Also why the [censored] are lawyers involved when it is simply a question of: Did Cripps contest the ball or, Did Cripps leave the ground and knock a bloke out? Nobody at the MRO or Tribunal should keep their jobs, the whole thing needs a reset, regardless of the outcome of last night.
  11. considerably less reserved seats sold compared to last week. Looks quite similar to Round 1, probably a bit under that because of MCC sales. I think somewhere between 48-55, would be nice to hit 60 but I think that is unlikely.
  12. A quick heads up to anyone reserving MCC seats. The sign on Ticketek saying that reserved seating in the MCC is sold out is a lie. It was meant for the Carlton Collingwood game but the idiots put it up on ours. Plenty availability still.
  13. It just seems to, I don't know whether its because people like to go out on Saturday nights or because late night footy isn't for most people. I think if the Friday night game against the Pies was a day game it would have hit 80. Our Saturday night games this year have been really poor as well. I had this one penciled in for our largest home crowd of the season but that just seems unlikely. I am also fed up with the excuses our supporters come up with to not show up to games. Where are the 45K who were at Round 1 and where are the 60K who turned up to the elimination final in 2018?
  14. In fairness to us that day, I reckon there were a maximum of 10K Carlton fans that day. Never seen the crowd look so red. Carlton were also shocking at that point of the season.
  15. I predicted 67-72 for the Pies game so am very happy with my work aha. I think Saturday night also tends to be a terrible crowd drawing slot. If this were a dry Saturday 2pm we would get 70K. Based on ticket sales, I think this will be lucky to get above 55K and weather isn't looking great this weekend. I am looking forward to another weekend sitting on 2A in the AFL reserve surrounded by clueless people from the other team.
  16. I think this weeks crowd is going to be very interesting. Carlton got 64K and against Geelong on a Saturday night but I can't help but feel we wont come close to that. I think low 50s is accurate and that will be disappointing considering I thought it would be larger than the Pies game a few weeks ago. Would be nice if more than 25K of us show up. More turned up to Anzac Eve (away game ffs) than last week...
  17. GA now available top of Q54-55
  18. Ye I have a check in twice a day because im obsessed and broken when it comes to crowds. I dont reckon they will come close to selling all. Can already tell that there are gonna be excess GA people and not enough seats.
  19. GA areas Shane Warne Stand Q1-Q7 Q8-Q15 1/2 (rows P-DD) Ponsford Stand Q31-Q36 (rows AA-MM) Olympic Stand GA seating not available
  20. They are selling up to row Z in both. GA will seemingly be row AA-MM but it would not surprise me if they put the whole Olympic stand up for reserved seating tomorrow. there are also only single seats left in the ponsford. for context Anzac eve got 70k with twice as many ga areas on level 4
  21. Interesting to see that general admission is now sold out. This is at 11pm so they may choose to put more on sale. for those who plan on scanning in on the night donโ€™t worry you still can this is just for non Melbourne or Collingwood members who donโ€™t have scan in access. think 75k may be on the money, hoping people are willing to get a little wet to come and watch a great contest.
  22. I think it would be good to remember that in Round 19 2018 Richmond and Collingwood got 88K to 1st v 3rd. First time that both teams had been in premiership contention for decades and it was a perfect day. For us to draw anywhere near that would be a miracle and we have a covid world to deal with.
  23. He said the club was hoping for that. There is no chance it will get to 85. anything above 70 is a win.
  24. I agree but considering how many people are working from home there arenโ€™t that many people that will just pop across from the city. for me Iโ€™m leaving the office at 5 on the dot to start the pre game experience. Not sure Iโ€™ll be upright come 7:50โ€ฆ.
