  1. Based on track reports I think there's some open slots. Back 7 is pretty solid: May, Lever, Petty, Salem, McVee, Windsor, Bowey There's an opening in the midfield rotation 8: Gawn, Petracca, Oliver, Viney, Rivers, Langdon, Sharp, mid-fwd There's two openings in the forward 7: JVR, Turner, tall-fwd, Fritsch, Chandler, Pickett, mid-fwd. Pickett is in the mid-fwd rotation. Three are in contention for the tall-fwd slot: TMac, Johnson and Jefferson. Four are in contention for the two mid-fwd slots: Spargo, Sparrow, Tholstrup and Langford. The sub probably comes from this set too although Melksham may have a say. Brown could surprise and hopefully Lindsay gets match fit quickly.
  2. I think we should play 6 plus Max in the 22.
  3. I like your line up but I'd definitely want someone who can play tall as sub. A medium like Melksham or Hore might suffice. I think Lindsay will struggle to be ready R1 having missed pre-Christmas in rehab but hopefully he's established in the 22 by mid year. Looking at the lists it's very clear to me that our biggest need is another dynamic goal kicking small forward. Kossie moving to midfield is good but it leaves the cupboard bare. I like Chandler but I think he'll play higher up the ground like ANB did. We've got Mentha and maybe AMW if we switched him forward again, not enough IMO. I'd be trying to trade in an established player, maybe someone like Rachele.
  4. Interesting that we bid on GC's Harris with the pick they traded to us. That's pretty unusual I think - see mens' draft and Kako. Maybe there was some hard dealing in the trade by GC. BTW, I have no doubt Harris is worth pick 2.
  5. Kolt has a different solution.
  6. Sydney kicked the most goals in last year's H&A - 326, that's 14.25 goals per game average. Port kicked 284 that's 12.35 average per game. https://www.finalsiren.com/AFLLadder.asp MFC kicked 259, that's 11.25 per match. More would definitely be better but we'd have to kick 1/3rd more to get 15 per match. No team is averaging that many.
  7. Great report thanks @Demonland, but just one correction - Kalani White's birthdate it 5 May 2007 - he's 17 and half, not 16 which has been suggested more than once on Dland. For context, he's just 6 months younger than 2024 Draft phenomenon Alix Tauru.
  8. GWS must think that Toby Greene is a "jobber" too then with their continued intetest in small forwards.
  9. Or else Ben King is in for a big surprise!
  10. They can trade 2026 and 2027 1st rounders, but they will likely be in Tasmania compromised drafts.
  11. Collingwood don't have an F1st they traded it for Houston.
  12. Should be - they had to learn to kick in clogs over there.
  13. West Coast should realise through media reports that our shocking culture has destroyed his character and not go near him.
  14. Plus a F1 our way thanks
  15. According to your observation.
  16. Probably stoppage goals or turnover goals.
  17. Oliver's role when we don't have the ball is not to run forward.
  18. Burn baby burn, disco inferno!
  19. Message from a friend ... Bloody hell, check the rig on this 18yo in the training camp rowing images. He's ready to go R1. Look out Riv and Spaz, the new calendar man is in town.
  20. "Push in the back" free kicks in general play are an extinct species, they are never paid and players know they can drive forward in the tackle with impunity. This change was partly brought on by the playing community diving forward at the slightest pressure from behind to simulate "in the back" and umpires' reaction to ignore that. The pendulum has now swung too far in that direction now and blatant "in the back" frees go unpaid.
  21. I find Wikipedia is the best source for trade and draft detail across the years. They've refined their format as the years have progressed. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_AFL_draft
