Probably add KK to that list as well. However I think selection will be made easier by the injury/ niggle list. Wouldn't be surprised if all of Jones, Melk, Trac, KK and Lever didn't suit up for round one. I know it is still 2 months away but it's now only 37 days to the first JLT and as you have said, we now have a list that is versatile and able to cope really well with some of the players needing extra time to get "Cherry Ripe" -

I'm pretty sure your user name equates to over indulging. Although I think your post was tongue in cheek, I'm not sure what you'll find if you go deep diving -

Yes, however when it is disrespectful and you give it as if it is fact then I think it's fair to reply. DV8 has "form" and perhaps I'm a bit like Saty, peoples opinions don't mean much when they are delivered in such a negative way and with so little evidence,. -

Lets not leave DV8 out of this DD. I think he was the perpetrator of most of the criticism regarding Trac. I wonder who will be the next victim of his "opinions". -
I was looking after a mates car while he was in Europe for 6 months and after about 8 weeks it broke down right outside The Planet. I just left it there till my friend came back. It was a very recognizable car and when he returned from OS a lot of people who didn't know he had gone, questioned him about how much time he was spending at the Planet. He wasn't very happy.

Conversely, The Daily Planet (an award winning brothel in Elsternwick Victoria) is located in Horne St.

In another thread someone mentioned 75% have him on ignore, I think I will make a plus one........I wonder at what stage he will realise he is talking to himself? I use to enjoy Uze Magics left field view point that invited alternative argument but this has become both tedious and irrelevant. Apologies for some of the bigger words I've used but I've always been a bit of a "smarty pants" -

Going on past form; DV8 will be telling us the "wolf" is being held back by puppy fat and isn't cut enough. ROFLMAO -
Kudos for taking ownership of the mistake.... heaven forbid that should catch on here.

Back in the early 90s I spent a bit of time in the Old Magistrates Court in Spring St. The part I loved was the breaks when the various legal teams would adjourn to the Central Courtyard and the debates would start. I was there as a subject matter expert and informant and the Legislation the proceedings where being brought under was very new. I would get questions about what various things meant, from our team of Solicitors and the Barrister. It was a great education as the barrister in particular would ask my opinion and then proceed to argue against everything I said (sounding familiar?) Where I could point him towards supporting facts I was on much safer ground. There was more than one occasion when his interpretation of the Legislation caused me to re-think my position or change how I was arguing it. As a barrack room lawyer I love a debate (when I have time) but what really irks me is people who offer an opinion as fact and they haven't done the research or read the rules/legislation and essentially cannot provide any evidence to support their argument. If you ever have time, go sit in some open court sessions. You'll very quickly see what happens when opinion given on the basis of feelings is used to support an argument. I would love to see more people educated in this area instead of getting their opinions from "social" media or the "Media" in general, but I digress. For a long time on this site I was a guest and didn't post. But I was always struck by the similarity with my Magistrate Court involvement. When it came to choosing a name I thought it a nice homonym to use "worship", as a Magistrate was addressed as "Your Worship" I know there are a number of members here who have a legal background and yes, I know Magistrates are now referred to as "Your Honour". Probably because the great unwashed never new the difference between a Magistrate and a Judge, (that's an "opinion"). Unfortunately, DHonour just doesn't work and besides, I'd rather have the name shortened to DW than DH

And we can now flag this thread as a fabulous example of flogging a dead horse...... Loved Pedo as a person who got the absolute best out of himself and although he was a square peg in a round hole, he managed to engage, encourage and support on the field the younger guys coming through. He can go on with the rest of his life knowing he did all he could and considering how he came to us from NM I'd think he was enormously thankful of his time at the MFC. I believe that showed in everything he did. Having spoken to him a number of times I believe he would be appalled at the lack of support for Smith and I know he thinks Smith has had a terrible run at it due to injury. As far as your assertions go, I don't place much value on quotes of stats that don't have an underlying analysis of the circumstances. Eg, How often was Smith coming back from an injury vs Pedo who was at peak fitness when playing for Casey?

In spite of his callous beliefs, Mazer is an intelligent and perceptive man, and his insights into Bugger psychology are invaluable.

Well Cranky Franky seems to get a bit snakey when people don't agree with him.

New Major Sponsor - Jaguar CONFIRMED
dworship replied to Viney+Brayshaw+Hogan=Flag's topic in Melbourne Demons
Hadn't seen that confirmed but you may be correct. In which case Pert still has plenty of time to make an announcement in 2019. I would think to maximize the exposure for any new sponsor there are much better places in the news cycle. There is a reason this is called a non ratings period. -
Wish I hadn't retired as a Firefighter, the gear would have come in handy. I do remember accidentally head butting a guy with my helmet one night at a job in Smith St. pretty sure he was Filth supporter...well he was missing some teeth anyway.

I'm not sure why you think we don't have a major sponsor. I think the list as a whole is pretty strong. -
Lord has arrived. Mrs Worship is a little peeved her Gussy hasn't appeared yet, even though they were purchased at the same time. Actually it's unusual for her to be only a little peeved.

Just been filling in the organizer for next year and have been able to pencil in 4 Casey games on Sundays following Melb games. Awesome!! Casey Sunday games at CF, PP, TBBO and VP. Might need the flak jacket for Victoria Park!

I'd imagine that was quite painful.

I'd go with Team Pawn... just need to check with BBO if this is politically correct.
