I heard grizzly adams had a beard.

But BBB is tearing it up at training… Kudos to the 3 people who got that reference.
  3. GWS game is the one after the ESS game and probably there will still be restrictions on crowd size in Melbs. I would prefer that to Adel in the second last round as we are sandwiched between a trip to Perth and your aforementioned trip to Mordor.
  4. She comes with a price tag but yes, it’s good to see some strong, confident decisions on both sides of the club.
  5. Yeah, we have to send the GWS game to Alice and get that $800k cheque.
  6. Got my tickets! Rpfc is off to the SCG with little bub in tow… let’s call him rpjfc… Wife coming too. Go Dees!

    Great work, lovely story.
  8. He’s back up ruck. I don’t think it’s so simple. Max should have a rest at some point. That is his best opportunity to play IMO.

Poor Barker. Noah is assembling the scape goats, and the sacrificial lambs - two of every animal! Into the boat!
  10. Huh. well I’m not a mod, and you an Kev are welcome to take the jest in which I have posted in this thread as straight if you wish. (although I thought the gifs give it away) I just don’t think you’re right and I still don’t think the response to deefiant was warranted - which is ironically what started this nonsense. We done yet?
  11. Great to see him bounce back once again. He always plays with an intensity that I think is helpful to our younger ones - both in example and to help them get out of jams.
  12. So I am a troll now? Good to know… Good lord, this reminds me of some of the internecine ‘conversations’ we would have on here with hangon007, or Dr Who, or their incarnates where consternation would be created and then these antagonists would wax lyrical about their ability to ‘speak freely’ or ‘not be trodden on’ by the literati on Demonland. Post what you like, but if you don’t want people to react to what you post - go and start a blog and disable the comments. rpfc out

Yeah, I am with @titan_uranus , and this may not jive with The Deebrief Podcast Bros, but I don’t care if it’s Weed or BBB. Whoever is best for winning finals on the G. So I don’t care.
  15. Nertz. Lever did have a ankle complaint last week. Surely the 25 year old Decase if anyone?
  16. The ‘sit down’ remark was a referential joke to an earlier post of mine about Land being a pub full of Dees supporters. Ironically, I was defending a poster from other posters just like you are doing here on your own behalf. Post what you like, ignore who you like as EO says (although I am usually good value), all I was attempting to do is point out the irony (even hypocrisy) of having a go at Deefiant for taking some OTT reactions of posters on here. Welcome to Demonland
  17. Sparrow Omission Royal Commission Report A report into the omission of Tom Sparrow for Ed Langdon in the Rd 13 game, year of our lord 2021. Findings 1. The time on ground percentage (TOG%) of the non-omitted player was 57%. 2. The role played by the non-omitted player is a stop-start facilitator of getting players on and off the ground. 3. The non-omitted player was across a number of distinct roles. 4. Young players playing in minimal distinct roles gives them the best chance to play well. 5. Young players should be afforded enough game time for them to appropriately settle. SUMMARY The omission of Sparrow for Langdon in lieu of the ‘non-omitted player’ (who is not named out of respect for the safety of his family) is an understandable decision based on the findings above. Therefore, there is no recommended action for the Commonwealth to follow or to recompense the parties involved. Signed, High Court Judge - the honourable rpfc.

He’s probably got a few more weeks to get going. The FD probably want to make sure Weed sticks around for the health of the list over the next 5 years. However, when it gets to the spiky end of the season - Ben Brown is a better option for 2021. Sam has a few weeks to change that view.
  19. IMO the reasons why JJ has excelled are primarily; he has been given 2 years to work through good habits at Casey, and in 2021 he has been give a clear, defined role for all of his games. He doesn’t need to context switch every time he comes back on. Playing extended minutes also helps. I would avoid a kid having to play the Melksham role - it’s a role to facilitate the best players getting a chop out, getting them into the bench, et al. It’s not a role that sets a kid up for success.
  20. Hi Jamie! Wish you came over a few years ago - you’re quite good!
  21. Yes. However, who sacrifices their minutes and role to play Melkshams role is not clear.
  22. I don’t really know what you are saying. Melksham from what I can see is playing a role across a number of line areas (fwd, wing, little mid) and then 40% on the bench. That is not an easy instruction for a kid to follow and succeed at. Thats my point widen it comes to the hatred that Jake has to put up with on here - do we really want to get Chandler/whoever into replace those minutes? That is not setting someone up to succeed. Ironically enough, it is that flexibility that Jake has that is beneficial to him staying in the team and seemingly, be ok with 45 mins of game time.
  23. Some players can’t perform being off the ground for so long - I have seen it as a player and a coach. For example, I wouldn’t play a kid in a role where I knew he would be just facilitating rest for our best players. No consistency, 4 mins here and there, 1 min of organising the switch of players to get you forward - it isn’t easy. And our best team - is every role fulfilled to the highest possible standard.
