  1. I can see your facts and stats Nasher of a few yeqars ago which ARE impressive, but would like to see a fluid smooth action with the same effect at the senior level to be convinced!
  2. Got nothing to do with having "Horrendous Patches" has everything to do with a consistent, fluid action which I do not think he has! To be a consistent goal kicker at the highest level this is mandatory! Question Who currently or a former player with a jerky action was a consistent goal kicker?? Not too many!/ Jimmy Krakour is one of few!
  3. Nup still not buying. This needed to be remedied a long time ago even before MFC came on the scene. A lot of work is required at this point! I'm sure the club and coaches are very aware of this!
  4. Nup not buying it 1 I think Kicking style is ingrained from an early age, nothing to do with Maturity, All to do with developing a set shot routine! I believe that this needs to be rectified ASAP!
  5. His Kicking Style and technique need URGENT overhaul. Whoever is the designated kicking coach down at the club needs to remedy his approach and style ASAP! Stop Start Dozzy Do, Hesitation, start again Shhesh doesn't inspire too much confidence. Needs to be remedied NOW! Potential champion, maybe but kicking needs to be addressed!
  6. A lot of your analysis re Watts is true BUT Robbie always went when his turn! ALWAYS! That's why he was a Champion!
  7. Anyone that thinks Nathan Jones is as good as Ablett is totally deeeeeeeluded!. Not in a month of Sundays! As Highly as I rate Nathan Jones, Ablett is in another cosmos!
  8. What an inspired pick up Wines was for Port Adelaide FC!
  9. Not only back in town but own the whole damn Monopoly board including all houses and multiplexing Mayfair and Park Lane!!!
  10. Sheeeit Marty Lyons would have been leading the bluey after his first two rounds of league footy but ?????
  11. Apologies, What I also needed to add is that I hope the boy comes back fully fit and ready for the next challenge! Not denigrating, him but I Do think he is a Tad overrated by many on this board!
  12. For all his Grunt, I think Viney is overrated by many on this site!
  13. Dawes is a premiership player who performed exceptionally well in that Grand Final! Toumpas is???
  14. We picked the wrong side this week against the Pace of GWS. Although changes must be made against Adelaide we also need to match up against some solid bodies! So, we cannot just go all out for speed we need "Balance" A retrograde step to even think about Jordy, Grimes, M Jones et al. Some on this site suggested Bail but he also is fringe! and not overly quick! Toumpas aint ready and won't be for quite a while.( Still unconvinced anyway) I would mix up the positioning a bit and consider Riley and JKH Possible outs include a combination of Dawes, Vander, Kent, Howe I think Brayshaw stays. Some other thoughts! We missed some sitters on goal. Kent missed 2 sitters, Garlett is paid to kick gimme goals! That's 2 he has missed from less than 30 out in two weeks! Inexcusable! Also our leaders were extremely poor today. Jones looked very slow! but he was not alone. I believe our positioning at Centre bounces is incorrect! We do not place ourselves ready for a quick clearance. Finally, we have too many guys who do not give first option, but rather try to bulldoze their way through. Jones does this far too much and it has been a fault of his for a long time which hasn't been rectified! It was as poor a second half that I have seen from an MFC Outfit. Players have no pride and even less belief! Another soul destroying Winter coming up and I can't see a quick fix! So relentlessly depressing supporting this team!
  15. I think Garland took a few hits and did look proppy at the end! I think we ere on the cautious side and give him a week if he IF he looks suss!!
  16. Ok Here's a thought, Dawes for Jamar and ruck Frost and Dawes alternately! ???
  17. I thought Cross was sensational today !! Anyone else share the same view? A very wise head who controls and asseses situations well and plays to advantage. Kicking was somewhat "Iffy" but Im sure he would be amongst first picked in "Roosys" team!
  18. Nup major blunder, too feeble at the ball, needs to play a year at Casey in the midfield and learn to win his own ball!
  19. Dawes adds further pressure and provides yet another BIG forward option which will definitely stretch really good teams defensively much less Greater Western Shizen! Vince also a must! Toumpas in first quarter when Kent was being assessed was like a bunny in headlights, needs to go back to Casey for an extended period and play ON BALL to learn some grunt! For Next week and although JKH did some useful things I think it will be Vince for Toumpas and Dawes for JKH pending a sore Garland!
  20. I've seen Brayshaw play last year and this year at Casey. I'll say it now, the kid will start in the midfield and have an instant impact, he will go on and play 250 + Games and captain the side one day! I hope I haven't put the mozz on him? I do rate him highly!
  21. Carlton's match day Runner Clint Bizzell?!
  22. Anyone know who Carltons match day runner is Ex DEE and Cats player?
  23. Agree also defining game for Jimmy Toumpas. I would play Howe Forward, Swing Cross to Half back and play Brayshaw in the pivot minute 1 game 1 and see what he has got! J K H to sub
