Been on the fence for a while on this. Sounds like his extreme personal issues family may well have contributed to his decision making but at the end of the day if he has not been totally truthful, then I think he might be gone.Hnmm challenge for the club and player.

I've said it all along, he is a seriously limited, selfish footballer. Tries time and time again to break tackle after tackle, refuses to dish it of to first option. He would be a magnificent rugby player, but he is not a footballer. Can go to Geelong or wherever and we will just take a first round pick and hopefully use it on a FOOTBALLER.

Interested in other's thoughts, I wanted him in the side a lot over the season but for reasons best known to the match committee was overlooked time and again. He is a very smart footballer, knows where to run, can take a contested mark, disposes well and is not afraid to put his body in. He ticks a lot of boxes! Could have kicked a couple more goals, but I thought his last 2 games were Excellent! One the basis that we lack players with "Smarts" I reckon he deserves at least a one year deal with triggers for beyond. I would be disappointed but not surprised given its the MFC and some decision making re Contracts have been in the past, "Lacking" that he may not be offered but,,, I hope he gets another gig at MFC

Negatives. Still have a senior coach with no idea what he's doing. 22 individuals, not a team horrific selections and way too many changes week to week little to no sign of improvement in the same areas that have been killing us for years Simon Goodwin hasn't been sacked yet. A damning assessment but sadly true!

In the games that mattered vs W Bulldogs, Sydney and Freo he kicked 2 goals 4. Games we needed to win. He should be converting more often but doesn't. Now, I'm not for a second blaming him for any of these loses but 2 Goals 4 in three games we needed to win is not a good return. He might be able to fix his kicking deficiencies, but old techniques and habits are hard to break and I'm not confident that he can. I know why he misses but I won't bore you with an analysis. You want to keep him, fine, I want to trade him, at the end of the day it is after all, just my opinion. I'll ask the same question, is he in your opinion untradable?

Also Nev and Jones great servants as they have been need to retire gracefully!

If Oscar is still on the list next year then Goodwins Ruthless call is a toothless call I would trade T Mac as well. Spargo should be delisted and is not AFL Standard. His paltry 4 possesions on the weekend are proof of that. Dunkley not up to it, KK should retire. I think Harley has to go. Others Im still making up my mind about. If you could get some currency for Melksham he should go. Fritsch for Gunston sounds OK BROWN and HUNT STAY!
