Just now, Mel Bourne said: I don’t think “he doesn’t have a choice” is an actual factor.
The choice between Adelaide and Gold Coast is obvious, if the money is the same. Realistically, he doesnt have a choice

The Suns present that opportunity, being part of their inaugural flag and potentially more in addition to 2021 helps his legacy. I think this is the main driver for him, he wants success and can see it won't happen at the MFC in the next couple of years - the other stuff is just noise.
Also, his wife wants to live near Noosa
He doesnt have a choice

Why the [censored] would Humphrey want to come play for us?
We can’t even get Flanders to commit at this stage and his only other suitors are bloody St Kilda and Essendon. Essendon?!!
$$$$$$, freed up from Trac/Claz.
He's from Victoria. Gippsland, in fact, which isn't too far a drive from Casey
He was coached by King at GCS, so they have a relationship.
He'd be playing next to the current AA small forward

Look at his run and carry in 2021 and then in 2025. He's heavier, slower and blows up after each chase
Regardless of his past issues, now should be the time for him to have a massive preseason to get fitter than he ever has so that he can do what King requires of him

Hard to tell from a journo tweet, but I too took that to mean get fit, slim down, learn how to do some outside work. Not too much to ask?
I didn't read it that he was told he wouldnt be a Melbourne players any more. However, we don't know what was said, neither does McXander
Oliver should be adult enough to understand that the game changes and midfielders need to develop their game to suit what the team requires.

NONE OF GEELONG'S 2022 PREMIERSHIP PLAYERS HAVE PLAYED FOR OTHER CLUBS!!!!'

Let's be honest, 24 and 25 appalling results given our premiership in 21. The midfield was slammed every week this season for been too slow. Our kicking from Clarry and Petracca highest paid duo, was rubbish. I applaud King if he brings speed and skill to the midfield.

Walter's would be useless if we still have a midfield that couldn't hit the ocean with a beach ball.
Is Flanders a better kick than Trac? Is he quicker than Trac? Can he play inside and outside? If the answer to these is yes, he would definitely improve our list.
Flanders in an Trac out would limit our s*** kicks in the midfield to Gawn, Oliver and Viney. And Flanders has 10 years ahead of him, he's not an old fart.

Really? What makes you think that about us?
I get the exact opposite feeling. I thought last year we might go big, but were no where near anything.
I think we have very few chips to play with appart from future picks. Maybe Trac, if he wants to leave, but even then we have to decide upon getting a good pick or not paying much of his contract. Can't get both, IMO
But I hope you're right

Would’ve been quicker and easier to just say “nya nya nya you were wrong.” which is the sentiment here. You really are a spiteful person. Step back and take a good look at yourself and you’ll see how childish you are.
In your haste to deflect and defend, you have completely misread what dazzledavey36 wrote in his post. Not to mention the name calling and tone of aggression
