I think it's because Richmond forced other teams to bring forward their intended picks by matching bids? Is that correct?

The whole draft thing is a bit of daft numberwang

Eg. West Coast bid on 4 academy/fs picks in top 17, which gobbled up a lot of picks to match

Please sell me on this kid @Pennant St Dee - I personally don't see it.

Based upon online highlights, I agree. Lindsay's look much better IMO. The WA factor scares me too

Having said that, a highlight reel doesnt show anywhere near the full picture, so what the f would I know 🤷‍♂️

    In Taylor we trust 🤞

I wonder if you could swap the Blues 7 for 9 and 11 if they thought they could get ahead of the bid on Dean?

That would be great for us, but Carlton still have to find the points for Dean.

Not quite sure of the rules, but don't they need to surrender a 1st round pick if he's bid on in 1st round? Or is that for next year? 🤔

  4. I think Nairn's kicking is pretty ordinary, both set shots and field kicking. Looks a bit like Marty Hore's action, only not as good. If he's a bottom ager, there still significant development he can do on an AFL list in that area. His strengths are that he gets the ball a bit in the right spots, he's a good mark for his size, is clever around the contest and can kick a goal or two. To me theres a bit of a project player about him, but is that worth pick 7 or 8?

And I dont think we've mentioned Emma Quayle at GWS enough of late 😎

Hoping Lindsay is one of our picks. Whilst he is not a contested ball winner, he goes when it is his turn, especially for a mark. He's not soft. Kicking and decision making is sublime, which would come in very handy off half back

Also hoping we do GCS F1 and maybe our pick in 30s for something in the teens for Pickett

No one is guaranteed a flag.

We have only ourselves to blame for 2023. Our obsession with contested ball and complete foregoing of i50s and forward craft cost us another chance.

Clarrie come out to thank the club, supporters and coaches yet?

Plenty of time to post [censored] memes apparently

    Interesting

You don't expect a man-child with an attention span of 30 sec to do that, do you jnr?

Mind you Freo in 2023 finished 14th after making a long awaited finals series. And it was a great year to death ride Freo.

Similar situation to Gold Coast 2025 into 2026. Maiden finals campaign. Can they continue their trajectory next year?

Picks 7 and 8 wll assist our rebuild and Gold Coast's 2026 pick could well be in the range of 1 to 4.

Only if their aeroplane falls from the sky and they have to field their 2nds

Not that im wishing for that
