  1. I hope so but I doubt it.
  2. I think you could make the point how well Sydney use the ball all over the ground. They still have two excellent players to come back in as well.
  3. Collingwood lucky to be this close.
  4. Sydney’s work rate has been incredible so far. Hope it continues.
  5. Sydney’s best footy is pretty good.
  6. Holding the ball is a lottery.
  7. [censored] I hate Carlton.
  8. I think there has been a narrative coming out of the club for a while about not making enough noise. I mean they had some b grade comedian telling us in the finals series in 22 to make more noise. I personally don’t like the messaging. The club has done well to increase the membership but play good footy and win and the noise will follow.

That’s an early call, hard to not see Dillon in the job for the next decade.
  10. To be fair to Roost it far, they were the most confident Demon supporter I have ever witnessed last year. This year though, it’s like their account has been hacked.
  11. I think the club, players and coach and coaching staff have done an incredible job the last few years. But when your club finishes the regular season top four but doesn’t win finals, serious questions need to be asked and answered. I also think our list profile relative to the competition has been a very strong list over the last few years. This year I think we still have a good list but it’s not a walk up start top four list. I think our list has peaked and there is a few clubs coming up that have better balanced lists.
  12. It would be lovely if GWS could pile on another few goals.
  13. Handy goal.
  14. Charlie Curnow is such a dangerous player.
  15. Brisbane wasting opportunities, rather disappointedly.
  16. Well this has the possibility of cheering me up.
  17. My biggest concern going into this season was the psychology of this group and my concern didn’t diminish after that. It really is hard to believe after having such forward disconnect last year that after having months to work on it it’s still a massive issue. It’s also hard to believe Stafford is still our forward coach. A few players can hold their heads up after that and a couple of them were first gamers. Overall that was putrid and just bloody hard to watch.
  18. Wow, this is everything that was bad about our game last year.
  19. Yep all good, understand your view and agree Rivers is important for the transition. I guess I look at it that Judd, Bowey, Salem and Howes could hopefully take on more down back if Rivers was up the ground more.
  20. Do you not think he has the endurance for the wing? I think our wings are areas where we can get significant improvement from last years team. I personally think we have a few players who could improve us there with Rivers being one.
  21. I know teams rarely start as they are named but love seeing Rivers named on the wing. I hope he gets a solid run there this year.
  22. I will be very interested / nervous who we play on JUH in round 1.
  23. Practice match and all but the Bont is a bloody good player. I could handle Hawthorn being this [censored] for the whole year.
  24. I love sticking the boots into the AFL as much as anyone but after the first match of this season it will be two out of the last three seasons that hasn’t kicked off with Carlton and Richmond. And we will have been in two of those three games.
