Fremantle are a much improved team from the early part of the season, not going to be easy to beat them next week.

I really wish Fox would realise Adam Papalia is their best commentator and use him more.

I would also like to see Bowey given a run through the midfield he absolutely has strengths the rest of our midfield lack in. With Salem back and Hunter possibly out next week I really hope we see Bowey and Rivers given some midfield time. Forgot Bowey was injured last night so might have to wait to see him in the midfield.

It’s fair to say we have work to do. Its hard to win games of footy it’s a lot harder when so few of our players actually played well. Our mix of talls across the whole ground is an issue. Lever is a good player but he struggles with one on one defending, I am already worried about the match ups against Carlton. The Gawn and Grundy combination not sure where getting enough value out of it and then our tall forwards just don’t fit in with our game style. Then we move onto our midfield, we have a good midfield it’s not the best in the competition but it’s good. Our clearance work is just horrible and needs addressing. Hunter and Langdon are both struggling for me. I would love to see Rivers and Salem who looked really fit given more time on the wings, particularly Rivers who besides one horrible kick was good tonight. I feel he takes the game on more and we need more of that. Just listened to Goodwins press conference and surprised he wasn’t more critical of our performance tonight. I can’t remember the last time I got this angry watching the tv.

If our midfield break even or win, with those outs in their forward line we should win.

Why is it obvious there is an offer on the table?

Much rather this match was on a Saturday night, that way I have another match I can watch. My two most hated clubs by a long way, the arrogance of both clubs is on another level.

At home on the couch with a good bottle of Yarra Valley Red and the better half hiding in the other end of the house praying Melbourne win.

I find SEN really hard to listen to these days but it’s worth the pain this morning listening to Carlton supporters ringing in and abusing their club.

Toby made the right decision for his career leaving Melbourne, he still wouldn’t be getting a game with us. Some really interesting games next weekend.

Pretty good Saturday, we win and both Essendon and Carlton lose.

If Hibberd keeps playing like this will be hard not to give him another contract.
