NON-MFC: Finals Week 02
Watson would’ve been playing for us had the Hawks not picked him. Don’t understand the dislike for him, has a crack, is dangerous, and does this being a lot smaller than a lot of his competitors.

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
At some stage would love to hear the thoughts of the people who were on the panel. I don’t think anybody on the thread predicted King. On paper, he’s probably the most experienced and had dealings with a lot of successful coaches. The Hawthorn coaching machine under Clarko produced Beveridge, Hardwick and Simpson. Let’s hope King is that next premiership coach from the assistant line. Looking forward to the press conference.

Farewell Charlie Spargo
A bit of nostalgia playing where his father played. All the best Charlie. Never quite liked him in the number 9, always felt he was too small for it after Neita.

NON-MFC: Finals Week 01
See what happens when you kick straight. Geez wish we had the skills of Hawks, new coach needs to put this as a priority! Making the most of opportunities.

POSTGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
I’d be trading May and Lever before Petracca and Oliver. So overrated those back two. Put Petty and Turner down back for the next 5 years to form a great backline.

May to never play full back again please. Isn’t fast enough. Try him forward next year.

POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Hawthorn
Went along today maybe expecting a side keen to impress any potential new coach. All I saw was a team lacking in confidence, any team cohesion, and terrible skills. Hawks skills are chalk and cheese compared to ours. Trac is so fumbly now, it’s a real shame. Lot of work ahead for whoever is brave enough to take the big job.

Simon Goodwin Sacked
Completely agree Kozzy. Green rehashed the same argument over and over. Didn’t say we expected to be playing finals. Didn’t say forward entries were still the same 3 years running. Didn’t say membership numbers were dropping. I can’t believe the amount of times we bomb it inside 50 hoping for the best. Since 22 until now. The brains trust Goodwin, Williams, Chaplin, all other assistants, couldn’t figure it out. Goody you’ve had time to fix things. An easier draw this year, limited injuries and still think we are close, yet we sit 13th with 7 wins. Time to move on.

Harrison Petty
Petty loves a ‘pre’ goal celebration. Takes a mark, happy with himself, high fives teammates, then misses a sitter. Just kick the goal, then celebrate Harrison. For reference, Brian Taylor is his heyday, very funny.

Max Gawn shanks left - AGAIN
Max could be on the AAMI ad “I’ll see you at the footy” where the girl says “shanked it”. Perfect person. He’s a putrid kick for a professional footballer with access to the best coaches in the land. Surely he could hire someone privately to fix his technique? Or is it “nothing to see here”, put fingers in my ears?

GAMEDAY: Rd 14 vs Port Adelaide
Goodwin stubborn. Williams filling his super fund for years. May should cop a lip from his teammates for letting 7 goals in, like he was quick to give it to Max last week. Avg footy club.

GAMEDAY: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Goodwin has got to go. How many years have these players been bombing into 50, they honestly do not think. If they are instructed to do that, even worse. Watch Pies other end, they work for each other.

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
So 15 minutes into the game you could tell we were ‘OFF’. Why the F can’t they turn it back ‘ON’. Can’t somebody in the group stand up and say ‘follow me’ when that ‘OFF’ day seems so apparent? Letting 6 first quarter goals in is not good enough. The white flag seems to come up pretty quick.

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Saints are just as much a rabble as us. They are just as likely to do a 180 next week, just as they lost to Eagles a few weeks back. Both BOG ordinary football clubs.

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Too many back slippers at this club. They have a few wins and suddenly think the wins will keep coming. And as always we are slapped back into reality when expected to perform. Pizz poor. Collingwood will be kicking their lips.

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Is Goodwin the right guy?
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Is Chocco in charge of skills? He has been bleeding us dry for years filling up his superannuation fund. And the May-Lever dynamic duo is long gone, both way past their best. We are where we are on the ladder because we aren’t that good. Simple. Mid range AFL team.

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Max love him. But his goal kicking for a professional footballer is ORDINARY. Best coaches in the land and he kicks like an u10s child.

GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Danger game. These are the games we ‘should win’ on paper, but would be oh so Melbourne to let this slip. Don’t be complacent Dees, team effort and we win. Leave it to individuals, we may be in trouble. Come on!!!!

POSTGAME: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
Jefferson is probably a lovely fella, talented in VFL and local leagues for sure, I went today and didn’t even notice him except for 1 mark at the punt road end then kicked it and didn’t even score. He has about as much grunt as Schache and Weid. Can we draft a forward with a bit of @$#t who wants to rip off their opponents head? Langford first season and already you can tell he is a player. Kicked a nice goal and even tried to get the crowd into it with his celebration.

Windsor kicks it straight to opposition again. [censored]

GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs Richmond
Too many players on this list just happy to get a pay cheque week in week out. No wonder memberships has dropped and we are a basket case of a club again. Club needs a broom through it and quick smart.
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs Richmond
We are the best in the league in our forward 50 for kicking it straight to the opposition. Disposal is atrocious. This is local league standard. Dinky die kicks all game, most boring club to watch.
