  2. Hes almost 30, body is shot to bits and hes been out of form since 2018. I doubt another team would even want him.
  3. Yes. Hes a forward. Totally lost down back. Another ridiculous decision from our coaching staff.
  4. We should bring in Joel Smith to replace the slow, broken down T Mac. We need his athleticism and speed up forward similar to what LJ was giving us. Some unpredictability and a nice foil for Weid. Flashback to the final JLT game of 2019 - Joel Smith had 11 disposals, 6 marks and kicked 4.0. He kicked a couple the week before, so he had 6 goals in two JLT games and was looking primed heading into Round 1. And then this happened - 'Smith, meanwhile, could be sidelined for up to six weeks after a groin injury, which he played through in the club's final JLT Community Series against Brisbane to assist with rotations, worsened.' I am sure we all remember that Dave Misson classic which destroyed Joels season when he finally had some form and looked at home up forward. Get him in, play him forward and back him in to be hungry to save his career!
  5. Surprised Lever is in 6th place, but even more amazed that the Weid is so low.... behind O Mac, wow.
  6. I want to see Joel Smith replace T Mac in the forward line. We lost Luke Jackson and replaced him with a slow, lumbering McDonald and it just looks terrible. We need to get back some of the athleticism and unpredictability that LJ gave us in forward 50 as the foil to Weid. I am not saying Smith is as good as LJ obviously but hes the closest thing we have as far as leap and ability to get to contests.
  7. I forgot Joel Smith existed. If he is to be given a last chance to save his career it has to be as a forward as he is no backman that's for sure. I'd gladly have him in ahead of T Mac.
  8. Wouldn't mind seeing Oskar Baker in the team. A big powerful, fast mid. A huge no to Hunt coming in ever again.
  9. Another impactless performance from Salem today. But him on the trade table and see what nibbles we get.
  10. No chance of catching Richmond. Need them to beat the Druggos tonight to keep them below us.
  11. In - Gawn, Bedford, Bennell, Rivers Out - Sparrow, T Mac, Hannan, Spargo Start Preuss forward, I said last week he couldnt do any worse than T Mac and I stand by that.
  12. Bring in Bedford for sure, huge tank and some zip. Saints are a great running team and quick, so this is the week to get him in.
  13. Should never have come back in. Been finished for a year now.
  14. They turned up the heat in the 3rd quarter and we crumbled, as is the Melbourne way.
  15. Excellent turnaround! Hopefully that goal gets Oliver going, was having the worst game of his career up until that point. I love what Fritsch and Preuss are doing. SMASH THEM IN THE 2ND HALF
  16. Brownlow Medal night would go for 7 hours. Heres a crazy idea - 22 games and 4 weeks of finals , just as its always been and worked just fine
  17. Nobody ever accused punters of being intelligent. The house always wins.
  18. So English is playing? I wanna see Preuss physically intimidate him and hurt him, hes twice as strong
  19. That philosophy has been a disaster for them. Clarkson too arrogant for his own good in the end.
  20. Yeah Im just trying to be positive, dont worry I am [censored] myself too Still think we win though, am strangely confident despite the [censored] myself part
  21. Yes, we took Sparrow (ended up being pick 27 after compensation/academy picks). We dominated this deal. Of course the flipside is what we could have taken at pick 6. But if Sparrow continues to become a very good player its daylight robbery, if it isn't already. Fremantle took a player called Brett Bewley at pick 65 (became 59 after teams passed picks). Just looked and hes already 25 so was mature age. No idea if he can play Melbourne In - Picks 6 and 23 Out - Jesse Hogan, pick 65 27 Tom Sparrow Melbourne South Adelaide SANFL Traded from Fremantle; received from Port Adelaide; received from St Kilda
