  1. Yeah, I can't see them giving up on them, either. Too much pride. But I'm sure they wouldn't mind too much if a couple of Vic teams were left behind/merged/moved.
  2. They donโ€™t seem to realise the game is hard. Never mind. Goody will give them a cup of herbal tea and a hug and take a lot of positives out of it and look to the future and...
  3. Got a link? Also, is Lewy still kicking coach?
  4. I get the sense that, in private, many AFL power brokers have decided that the latest expansion was a mistake and they would welcome a two team reduction.
  5. Anyone on kitchen duties at your place name Betty, by any chance? Betty better butter that breville for Neville....
  6. Well, I was trying to emphasise why, perhaps, Harley is a cut above as a sportsman. One of the major takeaways from The Last Dance was the seriousness of MJ. Winning was everything to him, and I sense that Harley has something of the same quality. Not everybody does.
  7. The way he spoke in his interview, thereโ€™s a seriousness there that not a lot of our team has.
  8. Damn right. If there's one thing I've learned from isolation it's that my needs are much smaller than I used to think. My family is closer, I'm getting more work done, I'm less stressed, I'm spending less and saving more, I'm healthier... The other day I ventured outside and gazed fascinated at my car, wondering why I needed that expensive but largely useless transport device. I guess I have come to the conclusion that this life is better.
  9. Exactly. Using a good old gem of Australian folklore to say something you're not allowed to say.
  10. In the AGM, GB said while he couldn't to make an announcement, he could say this, "There's movement at the station." Something tied to the Richmond station redevelopment.
  11. Uninterrupted runs of economic growth are overrated. If we all had less stuff cluttering up our spare space, we wouldn't be worse off....
  12. Gotta respect a man who likes his meat and potatoes straight up. No worries....
  13. Pretty sure. I was thinking for a while that was why they didn't go for Jenkins: had an idea in mind already. Otherwise, why didn't they go for Lynch?
  14. I could do one for ya, if you want Just gimme a concept and I'll represent it.....
  15. Cheers, mate.
  16. Damn right. Win and they will come.
  17. I think you are right. Jackson is the man, but we need to wait for him, and we don't have time to wait...
  18. Cameron is up for grabs. He's from Dartmoor....
  19. For mine, he never looked better than in early 2018 when he and Hogan were getting up the ground. His edge is his endurance, but the game plan doesn't seem to recognise that.....
  20. Am I alone in thinking there's a bit of Buddy about Jackson? Give him some time to fill out and what defender is going to be able to outlaw, outrun and outbody him?
  21. I propose that on game days, affiliated pubs could add a small but significant surcharge to food and drinks to be donated to the club. Fans could gather knowing they were helping the club with each sip. Might add up...
  22. Anyone else thinking that Jackson is probably better suited to be a forward than a ruck? With TMac they'd make a highly mobile double act....
  23. It's our inclusive look....
  24. If not, Weid is there to cushion the blow.
