i don't know why people take it so seriously.

collectively we are seen as fickle supporters that jump ship and go to the snow instead of watch out team play.

next time you hear someone crack a joke, ride it and fire back.

"At least I can afford a snow trip. But I always make sure I'm back in time for the game. I even have a space up front for my Range Rover. How is Moe this time of year?"

Nah, better not to reinforce stereotypes. Just button up and point to the scoreboard.

The speculation about Collingwood moving out of their current home has been fuelled by themselves, no-one else. I was simply relating to that.

In any case, if we agreed to move in there after they moved out, they would either reneg at the last second or double the price, saying something like, "Youze are all rich c#$&s."

Interesting. He goes on fair walks then. My sister regularly sees him walking the streets near Central Park. I guess he's a fit guy, so loves a reasonable walk.

That's his body-double. Gotta keep 'em guessin'...

Pretty sure the coach lives in Malvern

Ashburton. Lever lives in Kew. Jones lives in Black Rock, I think, maybe Beaumauris. His house backs onto Royal Melbourne West, Hole 11. He catches wayward balls in his teeth over breakfast.

I’m going BBB over Weideman at this stage.

I do see room for them both at some stage.

Brown is a  proven gun forward. Weid is a kid with potential who time to shine has arrived. Only one of them has a question mark over them. BBB gets the nod for me.

I agree mate! My original question may have come across as facetious, but I meant it, is Casey already our heartland and we refuse to admit it?

Good question. I reckon, given comments re our defense and the lessons learned in the wide open spaces of Casey, winning changes everything. If it works for us on the field, it's the heartland.

See what the future brings. Casey'll certainly help us whenever, wherever, it's blowing a gale.

That's the side I'd go with too, @MadAsHell.

I reckon we set Weideman and Brown for this game some weeks ago. Both are back much earlier than we thought and I suspect to temper expectations around this.

In that team, Viney has to play 70% forward, 30% midfield.

We're tall, but mobile too. Going to be very hard for any team to get through our defense with Gawn, TMac and Jackson all there for kick outs and Hunt, Hibberd and Pickett with speed for the crumbs, Viney's tackling et cetera...

TMac on the wing is the big unknown, but given they trained it, there must be a rationale.....

I’m currently watching AFL 360 for the first time in years

Im a self admitted [censored] pot. So my judgement is impaired

    However, I have two questions

Is Robbo a jibbering [censored] or am I a mindless drunk ?

    I think both.

IN: B. Brown, Fritsch, May, Weideman

OUT: M. Brown, Jordan, Melksham, Petty

    FB: Lever, May, Salem

    HB: Hunt, Tomlinson, Hibberd

    C: McDonald, Petracca, Langdon

    HF: Neal-Bullen, Weideman, Spargo

    FF: Fritsch, B. Brown, Pickett

    FOLL: Gawn,  Oliver, Viney

    INT: Brayshaw, Jackson, Jones, Rivers

    SUB: Melksham

McDonald to the wing and Jackson to play as part of the midfield rotation and forward if Brown, Weideman or Fritsch ever come off.

Jones and Melksham to start rotating the sub role each week.

This is a very strong combination.

My question is how does Jackson fit in the team when Wied, B Brown & Fritsch are all up forward ?

This is a good question and has been well answered by Binman. Jackson stays because he is a nightmare matchup, a point of difference between us and every other team, and because he allows Max to go forward and back. Think of him as a very tall and springy mid that no opposition can cover.

Would like to think that one of May or Fritsch could be ready again - though the shorter turnaround doesn't help.

You can't not put Weideman in, but Ben Brown was playing more up the ground apparently, so goals not everything. Hard to see us having Jackson, Tom Mac, Weideman and Ben Brown in the same team, especially as you'd have to drop a smaller forward to do so. But ...?

But playing them all could be a point of difference that the Tiges can't cover...
