  1. Agree L. Happy to play him for experience but not ready.
  2. Both Oliver and Viney do not do justice to their midfield time. In respect to their disposal.
  3. Love your commitment. I have Dunkley down as one who will work hard to become an AFL regular. Understands the game. I remember one of his first kicks. He positioned it so a player had to run onto it. The receiving player expected it on his chest standing stationary so it was put down as a miskick for Dunkley.
  4. Interesting DJ. I have been wondering about what a breakdown of the numbers looked like..
  5. The general standard of play this year has been horrible. We are not off to a good start, but wouldnt we all love to be heading to the G in the next hour or so to through our usual footy day routines. As they say, it is more than a game. Go dees.
  6. Good footy day MCG Full list I think it will still be on the line with ten minutes to go.
  7. I understand your point. Love Max but feel that following your theory it is a shame in a way that our best player is a ruckman. I had hopes preuss could be that crash and bash ruckman to let Max go forward and create havoc.
  8. Interesting breakdown of their departures and a highlight of a talented bunch of support staff. Balme is a crutial part of their operation as well. lets not forget to, "beware of an injured tiger'. What you highlight is as far as tomorrow goes it is MCG Goodwin v Hardwich Our 22 v Tigers 22 I expect a close one....
  9. January 29, 2018 4:33pm TOM MORRIS@tommorris32 Goschs Paddock Melbourne Football Club is ramping up its plans to build a new, state-of-the-art training facility that can accommodate its football and administration departments under one roof. Note the date.
  10. Are they the same people who proposed the Jolimont base? If so they are fools for thinking for one minute that would get up in that inner suburb of Melbourne. And the same working party that proposed and spruiked Goschs paddock for a new bbase for training and admin in Jan 2018. Sounds like you dont like facts.
  11. If this weather holds which it is predicted to do it is gonna be a damm awful slog of a game. May come down to a lucky break or a sneaky goal here or there. All the more reason why I would have Bennell in the side. Kozzy and Bennell are the ones you want ball in hand at the death. Also Petracca near goals. Those three would have even the best defencers on edge.
  12. What planet am I on? Not aware of humans on any other planet. Not true, really. Do you think he is going to pull out an MCG oval from outer space and plonk it in Jolimont. we have four options, rubbish. His working committee/partners are the same fools who wasted time and money of the Jolimont proposal. As for spiritual home, maybe 50 years ago. Note how he did not specify any as it has to be top secret from members and supporters until the deal is done. And could someone tell him we do not play home away games on a Saturday arvo for supporters to go back to a social club after a game. just imagine the rush after a night game finishes or a Sunday twilight. Further there is no mobel anywhere that works where supporters leave a ground and then go to a social club. And I know for a fact things get pretty willing in Social Clubs after someone has been at the footy all day and then kicks on at the Club. Hardly good clientele. And you reckon I am from another planet.
  13. Fairly clear it will not be an MCG sized oval if and when the Development near the G gets up. Goodwin has a free pass for his contract term. We need to be patient on all fronts . Oh, yes, and that is a very good question, did I say I like being involved with the big end of town and chose the Dees as my vehicle to do just that, um, um, could you give us some money.
  14. All good The Jam/plant. Genuinely interested in how our forward line should look this week. Over to you coach.
  15. almost everyone on here has an ill informed opinion. Back where we started. a club plant.
  16. Confused. Mmmm. We were 17th last year, six years into a plan after finishing seventeenth twice in a row. Listened to your mob on here try to convince others it was all down to injuries, interupted pre season, poor fitness bloke, lack of support for Goody, Goody is still learning and more. As a top level coach you would know Sunday was a perfect footy day, full and fit list to choose from. Coach and Captain had told us the previous games errors were easy to fix. So yes I am confused that you see a forum where we can discuss a range of issues as keyboard bashing.
  17. I have a close contact at Gold Coast. They have world class stadium and training facilities, a young list who like the Coast lifestyle. Ellis and co, mature gets have been huge from a playing and non playing perspective. Apparently they spend a lot of time at the Club. Sure they might drop off a bit but GC have well and truly past us on most metrics.
  18. I see that as well. It can or did work when you have star and hard working small forwards.
  19. Nice attempt at moving the conversation. Demonland is a forum where supporters bring up a topic and then others can have their opinion on that topic. This topic is, "Is Mahoney the right guy" Now it would be wonderful if our topics were, Dees win three in a row, Hogan on top of the goalkicking, Demons get a home preliminary final, but that is not reality. You gave the game away again with your, face to face like men comment. I reckon the extend of you fronting an MFC official would be complaining about the bread on your cheese board. The only board that would have you.
  20. Dead set confirmed. You are a plant and do not like supporters upsetting your cosy complicet apple cart. Pass the camembert, oh is there a game on as well as all this food, wine and grovelling to the hierachy.
