  1. The next time Damian Barrett says something good about the MFC will be the first time. He hates us. He is so pro-Geelong it's beyond funny.
  2. Jeepers, Monbon - why don't you tell us what you REALLY feel? But I agree with every word you said. He is a total t..d and watching those "highlights" makes me remember why I hate Collingwood.
  3. I just thought I might start a positive thread - let's celebrate big Maxxy's 7th AA!!! Well done, Max: You are a champion!
  4. What a waste of space this thread is!
  5. As i recall it he was in favour of the tanking way back when.... Great player, great supporter, but.....
  6. Don't want him. Can't forgive him for all the rubbish about "I don't know if I'll leave" when he knew perfectly well - and played like it IMHO.
  7. It's truly a process of elimination, isn't it? In which case, out the door go Geelong, Carlton, Brisbane and Hawthorn in a hurry. GWS are inoffensive except for Toby Greene (I have a long memory; enough said). That leaves 3 contenders; I admire John Longmire.
  8. He's a28yo HBF. NOOOOO!!!!!
  9. Surely Carlton losing was karma after that disgraceful act by their "supporter".
  10. What about jail? Is a serious assault!
  11. Disagree about his field kicking. It can be magnificent. His tackling is terrible and his chasing is lacklustre but his field kicking can be up there with Melksham.
  12. My whole interest in footy for the rest of this season is in hoping they go out in straight sets. Huge home ground advantage, if the rumours are half true they subvert the salary cap, and summer the most dislikeable people in the league.
  13. Well, unlike I suspect many of the people on this thread, I have been at the game. All our best midfielders were out. Lever and May were not playing. Free kicks were 3 to one in their favour. We made some terrible errors, but I think our players did their best and I'm not going to criticise them.
  14. Please please please can't we move in from all of this now? If Lawrence wants to stand for election he can do so; if he wins he wins and if he loses he loses.
  15. Surely we learnt from the tanking years: the worst thing you can do is allow a belief that losing is acceptable.
  16. 100% agree. Apparently this is a strong draft. Let's get a young gun mid or key back, not a 28yo HBF when we already have Salem Rivers McVee Bowey AMW Taj Howes........
  17. I truly believe you are a Collingwood supporter - you gave it away the other day when you said "we played Daicos in the backline". And no Melbourne supporter could be half as negative and anti-Melbourne as you are.
  18. I thought he was great - he looked and acted like he had been vindicated.
  19. I know you are close to the players but as an outsider I would be staggered off Clarry out Viney goes anywhere. You asked about what Viney said - I think there are links to it earlier in this thread but essentially when asked about leaving he instantly said he wouldn't be but when asked again, he said he would wait until later - words to that effect. Most people think that he had meant that he would be staying but then realised that was ruining his bargaining power so he walked back from it. I agree with that interpretation.
  20. To be fair, he might have thought that if he went he would be a distraction
  21. Viney Max Langers Turner everyone else
  22. I just love these pessimistic posters, following a massive win like that. TBH you must have a miserable life.
  23. I think he has been incredibly promising.
  24. Because they love to bag the club. Is not what I call support.
