Biggest thing for Dunn I think is his lack of confidence. He is all false bravado when he is playing and I think that is because he knows that he is a major whipping boy for all demon fans. With a vote of confidence from a master coach like Paul Roos, I think we may see him improve further this season. He has all the tools to be a good player and I think Paul Roos will make him believe in himself. -

So very true .. but if last year wasn't rock bottom then what was? Also our recruiting this year easily surpasses anything from the previous three in terms of adding experience. -

I believe it will. Purely for two reasons 1) Let's be honest it can't be worse 2) We have proven ball winners at AFL level in there and a bit of depth with that -

Our midfield will improve out of sight this year there is no doubt about that. Two things Watts needs to do in order to even be considered for a midfield role 1) Gut run. You cannot be taught that and it is time for Jack to look deep inside himself and actually push himself harder. He is not a kid anymore and has enough years in the AFL system now to want to make a difference 2) Learn how to tackle and make it stick. Far too often over the past few years he has barely attempted to tackle, basically just flinging his arms towards an opponent and is easily brushed off. Once again that comes down to wanting to impact a contest. The mark he took against the bulldogs when we beat them at the end of the match was hopefully a sign that he is taking football more seriously. -
At least he wasn't letting off flares with the fans of baghdatis like most of his fans do
-
Pretty much anything except shoot him He was a 15 year old boy and there were plenty of them to restrain him. Unless he was built like the hulk then they didn't need to shoot him
-
They're saying 3 months .... If he is back in 3 months then I would be investigating them for every drug under the sun for Nathan. Swallow did his against us and still isn't back full training. Shocking injury to a very good player and I'm sure we all wish him all the best.

This whole police argument is ridiculous Some of them are arrogant there is no doubt about that but 95% of them do a great job On the kid who was shot .. yes they made a snap decision that they will have to live with for the rest of their lives All that could have been done to change that would have been to have bean bag rounds or something similar to knock him to the ground

I am hoping that with the loss of a little muscle and maintaining his aggression at the man and the ball that we can finally see the skills that tapscott posesses -

Designated wingman or HFF for Nicho if he gets into the side Does have pace and has tagged so he can push back and track his opponent and can use his pace running down the wing. I don't care if he uses his pace just to create handball options may as well use his biggest weapon -

Regarding those photos Is it just me or does Tappy look a little bit leaner than recent years Still has the upper body but just seems to be a little bit leaner and therefore may be a little quicker -
No but if he was guilty of it going on twitter would just be stupid I think if he did it he wouldn't have bothered writing anything.

Media reports of a 'scuffle' with police are inaccurate. There was a misunderstanding trying to re enter a venue but I was not in a scuffle Quote from Campbell's twitter Not sure if he's protecting his ass or the media are blowing things up again
-
Jimmy was limited as a footballer but I still say good on him for doing it Had a reasonable year at VFL level. But what about the Tapscott's, Bleases, Trengove's and the like. I'm also tipping Cale Morton and Jordan Gysberts never did it
-
Yeah I was happy with that Yeah as I stated I am aware he should be doing it however my point was are there many on our current list who would be doing it ?

The AFL has stuffed up the Western Sydney experiment

Cannot agree more with this. Except for the odd bunch of idiots who just want to riot all the time, the WSW are excellent to watch when their crowd is going. -
I am aware that he should be doing it .. the point I was making is how many of our players do you think actually do things like this ? Clarky is setting an example and by the looks of the empty gym it seems he is the only one there. I am aware some other players may have done it but judging on our performances of late I am not sure many do extra work
-
I wonder how many other players on big salaries would be doing this You reckon when Buddy did his hammy he was in the gym on a saturday night ? You think any of our players do this ? Not by the look of this photo they don't
-
I am fairly certain he could do that throughout the week. Highly unlikely he drove to the club on a saturday night just to take a photo of the gym

I may be the only one who think this but with Nicho and Tommy Mac, I don't think their kicking will improve much. If you're over the age of 20 and still a poor kick generally there is only so much they can do. They may get better but these two are such a long way back I don't think they will ever become reliable. Tommy Mac it shouldn't affect too much as he can spoil and handball unless he has to kick it long whereas Nicho will seriously struggle as he relies on his speed and disposal to have impact on games. -

You're a glass half empty kind of person aren't you ? Although I did have similar thoughts, I thought it could turn into 3-5 weeks
