Get the AFL to build a Boutique stadium around Dandenong, similar to Adelaide's, maybe smaller initially, to become an alternate home base for games against our interstate rivals. Allow the Bulldogs, Bummers, Carlton, Pies & Roos to play at the Dome, and make this NEW boutique Stadium to serve the Dees, Tiges, Saints & Hawks, for the smaller crowd pulling games. This in turn, will have the effect of giving the cubs better bargaining power, to gain stronger, more realistic financial outcomes from their Victorian games. And the Dandenong locality will serve the whole of the Eastern half of our state Victoria. Better serving the much maligned Gippsland patrons.

I think we need a broad-spectrum approach to this CoVid19 issue, and the complications of this attached to economical issues, such as our reliance on globalised trade, and our outsourcing of most of our manufacturing industry. Its plainly obvious, that reliance on one or two major offshore producers of the worlds manufactured commodities, is a bad idea. And how that leaves us all, at a real vulnerable position. We rely on personal safety equipme3nrnt cars and car parts. As well as trucks, and other heavy machinery required for our localised uses. So this brings back the CEO's and directors, Who are taking far too much money from our, now struggling companies, who should be paying their taxes locally here in Australia, to underpin Australia's revenues. Revenues required to pay for the running of our emergency services, hospitals and medical industries. Our roads maintenance, and general road and rail services. With a reduction of international trade due to these changes to international trades,. then the stock-market and generally globalised industries, who have chosen in the past to offshore their businesses, they better high tail it home, whilst they can, still call Australia HOME.!

What about them taking a 50% reduction on their contracts, for the foreseeable future.? For the good of the world.

What happened to this sponsorship.? Was it a Red-Herring instead.?

2020 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
MyFavouriteMartian replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Recruit close to home, in 2020. With the CoVid19, and other things going on, atmo, Tis a season to recruit locally from our state, as the go home factor will be at its strongest. -
Should Directors & CEO's of Multi-Nationals, still receive their multi-million dollars salaries.?
-
For a moment... I thought I saw 'Foo' .? Hands up, Boris, was that you, doin' that.?

The Spectre of Private Ownership Looming Over AFL
MyFavouriteMartian replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Could you imagine an owner listening to a MMalthouse who wanted 12 interchange bench, and 5 mermaids per team. The game would change, to some unwanted alien thing for international tv alone. -

When the Tough get going... the Rich't have already left. -
C'mon Rab. Surly you can see that, Pollies must have their hairs trimmed, as a matter of urgency... or even daily. Tashes trimmed, Comb-overs set, Merkins coloured, and Brazillans waxed. It's a matter of National Impotance. Just ask Slo-Mo, or T'Rumpadoo.

Surely we can organise electronic voting, for council elections.

The key to it all, is whether our Bodies build a resistance to the virus, or Not.? If we can re-catch this virus, the world is in for a horrid time.
