Farewell Judd McVee
What’s appears equally true is he was never close to actually leaving. He was simply waiting to see the lie of the land which is totally fair enough. Well done to King for getting him on board and I’m looking forward to an injury free preseason and some run and dare from him in 26. He’s got the makings of a really good player. Now back to the Robbie Flower highlights!

I’d read that article by Flanagan, pity headquarters don’t care.

NON-MFC: Finals Week 03
The fact we’re not there deeply disturbs me but they are likely to be cracking games of AFL

Tassie Devils Possible Extinction
Tasmanians want the team, it’ll have tremendous support and if the AFL do their job it will reinvigorate local clubs that have been neglected and dying for years. Problem being corporates with little care want a shiny new toy to guffaw in and they’ll just push a dud deal through at the expense of Tasmania. Imagine the pressure coming to bear on independent senators to ignore another damning review of the stadium. Embarrassing.

There’s some great highlight reels on YouTube. I often find myself watching them.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026

When’s the facepalm emoji coming back! Oh wait I found one 🤦♂️- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
As someone who grew up watching Robbie Flower play footy I have little time for those who aren’t all in, especially those who it would seem would love to play for Collingwood. To think so many wanted Buckley as our coach…..sheesh what a week!- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
This is a good point. It still appears he wants out and for mine it’s best we facilitate that.- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Or pay him $5.8million to supply $3million of output and potentially stop us getting some more young A grade talent. I get that it looks kind of ridiculous but as has been said Collingwood have been paying Treloar and Grundy over $500,000. In what world do we line up with Petracca, Oliver and Viney and improve our win/loss? The changes need to continue and it’s pretty apparent he’s still keen to leave.- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
We need high picks and quality players who want to be here, who are prepared to play what is a brutally tough and contested game. I just don't see a world where that's Tracc. I also don't see a club handing over high picks and or quality players and paying all of his contract. I'm also of the mind that he's just not the guy we really hoped he'd turn out to be, he should be our Dangerfield, maybe he'll be someone else's? Just say Taylor turns pick 6 into another Langford or Lindsay, we get Flanders and we're losing some cash on the side, which in effect we're saving having Pick 6 rather than Petracca anyway.- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
And yes I'm going to Boo him.......I always boo with a smile as it's quite ridiculous to boo a Champion but here we are!- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Lets just say GC offer up pick 6 and Sam Flanders. I've little doubt we'd be on the hook for upto $400K of his salary. I wouldn't expect Tracc would be taking a paycut. I'm actually ok with that as he clearly would prefer to move on or he and his manger could do would Clayton and his just did. To me he's a petulant man child who at his best can destroy a game of football but his bravery his been dented (totally understandably so) but his petulance remains. I'm now fully in the trade him out camp.- Demons Ponder New Strategy Boss
To cover for Richo until his contract expires. 👊- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Flanders and a first round pick for Trac.- The List Manager Tim Lamb

Stop Already 😂- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
The logic is if he doesn’t want to play for us then find a trade IF we can. I’m leaving it to King, he’ll speak to him and what follows will be the answer.- Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
Just wish he hadn't worn a suit. :)- Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
you stopped at a comma, I'll add the rest .........at least that's my (our) hope.- Farewell Judd McVee
I haven't seen AMW enough at AFL level to know for sure and he may well end up forward. You're second point is possibly due more to gameplan than his attributes. I think at his best in a well drilled team he's finding teammates forward of centre. You've also got to remember that our defence as a whole has been way down on its best the last 2 years. That alone will impact Judd without the issues i've mentioned in a previous post. Let's hope King can unlock the puzzle. Goodwin was no slouch as a coach though so it remains to be seen.- Farewell Judd McVee
I think that underates him considering as a team we lack good ball users. Remember his preseason was largely ruined with a serious hamstring injury and he was playing as a lock down defender which isn't his best position, that's where I hope AMW fits into the team. As a running HB and distributor I think we have a really good player and I'm hoping he stays.- Sam Flanders
Are we seriously a chance though?- Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
Surely the family moves south - Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
