  1. OOOPS, Fixed :)
  2. Melbourne 29.14.188 West Coast 7.11.53
  3. Davey Jakovich Pickett Farmer Schwarz Lyon Flower T Viney Tingay B Lovett Neitz Lever Wight May Whelan Gawn Petracca Oliver I: Stynes Jurrah Jetta Fritsch E: Langdon Salem Charles Frawley Johnstone That forward line would create havoc no? Whilst I'm not sure Jurrah earns his spot as he had his defiencies and didn't play for long his sheer X factor has him in my team. Special mentions to some unheralded performers: Jamie Duursma, Paul Prymke, Ricky Jackson and Austin Wonamaerri.
  4. I think you'll find Lewis bit Viney because he was being racially vilified. Whilst biting is a low act the words used against indigenous footballers continually reached new lows until not so long ago.
  5. I just want to play Collingwood, Geelong, Carlton and Richmond and then finals. I've already bought my Premiers23 poster. When JJ can play like that and get dropped you know things are going very very well. I haven't been this confident since 2021 :)
  6. He's going to be hard to knock out of the side if Sunday's performance is anything to go by. He looked quicker and sharper than what I had in my mind. Keep doing that and he puts the heat on players such as Harmes, Sparrow, Hunter, Bowey and even Viney and ANB if their form dropped off. Would hate to see him leave but players are going to.
  7. Whilst I want us to have a home base that's league standard the amount of money spent by governments on afl clubs training grounds is absurd. You've got people waiting 18 months to have hernia operations whilst overpaid sportsmen sit in government funded spas. Meanwhile the AFL burns money trying to keep soccer out in the wastelands of the GC and GWS. Perspective required.....and no I don't need a hernia operation but a friend has a double and has been waiting 9 months so far.
  8. I think the fact that he had such an impressive debut is proof that the FD knew exactly what they were doing.
  9. Think I'll watch it again on Wednesday, just lovely. Now for Collingwood after making a speedbump of Richmond.
  10. I'm in the camp that if we don't either win or lose playing well then Goodwin is the problem. Yes he may of coached a Premiership but with the list he has.......SHOW ME THE MONEY! That being said I think we'll win well 25 points
  11. I chanel the future with various narcotics.
  12. I want them to start the chant, all of them, and then watch as we kick 9 goals in 6 minutes to win by 20. Van Rooyen kicking the goal that puts us in front after riding Moore outside 50 and then calmly slotting it from 60.
  13. Grundy basically sat out all of last year, his pre season running showed he is miles of his team mates in terms of fitness. If he can stay healthy and build his fitness through the year I'll have expectations of him. For now, just compete and don't get injured!
  14. The eternal optimist in me hopes Schache becomes a key forward for us if Brown and TMac both can't play
  15. Doggies absolutely deserve the points. Fantastic win and great to see UH stick it to the racist fool from last week. Winmar would be proud.
  16. I particularly like the high five with a Swans supporter sitting between you and your high fiving Demon mate but that's just me.
  17. [censored] that, I want 22 disposals, 8 marks and 3 goals and Monday's headlines to read "Dee's smash hoodoo as the second coming lights up the G" good key defender in a few years, pfffft
  18. Now that it's confirmed the second coming is playing I'd likely leave TMac in so he can ruck with Grundy. I want JVR settling in as a key forward, leading, marking, busting packs and then collecting the spillage and slotting it through around his body from 40metres on the Members HFF, Punt Rd end. Now that's a high five your mate moment right there!
  19. I'm the opposite on Gawn. I think we're at risk of going into our shell and not attacking through the corridor because we don't have Gawn a kick behind play. This is doubly so because Salem and Kossie are out. If the Swans keep the ball away from Bowey then who's kicking it out of the back half to the corridor knowing if they miss there's also no Gawn backup. I'm thinking the Swans clamp down on Bowey for this very reason. If the Swans go 3-4 goals up early do you think we have the dare to roll through the corridor? I'm still thinking we win this but......
  20. Having not watched him play more than a hand full of times I’ll take your word for it. Clearly the club sees value in him. I’m with the poster who sees this as a crunch game for us. I’m prone to hyperbole though! If we win I’ll be back to predicting us the Premiers but if we lose I’ll be calling for Goodwins head. The truth lies in the middle 🤓
  21. Does Joel Smith really get a run this week?
  22. Not Bowey, he needs to spend his time kicking the ball to targets in the corridor
  23. Last I checked we were the big boys
  24. Kynan Brown?
