One last time, He's a top level plodder, nothing more. His strength's are he's a smart footballer and a great endurance runner. Now if JVR can't reach that level then why was he given the number 2 and why the hype? I've never seen the kid play but the reports were coming in that he's the second coming, not just from here but the club also talked a big game. If McDonald gets injured, or his form plateaus at this level then FFS play the future whilst you've still got BBB running around. That's all I'm saying, oh yes and I also wouldn't mind seeing the other Footscray recruit given a run at some stage. I'm not dissing TMac but the upgrade has arrived hasn't it? I mean you don't buy the latest Mercedes and leave it in the carport to continue driving the Commodore just because you got laid in it.

Let me get this straight: neither Schache or JVR can run out the game or run in similar patterns to TMac Yes he played in a Premiership and all going well he'll play in another. However if he's injured as has been alluded to and it's his foot again, then I'd say he's getting close to cooked. This site has gone on about JVR like he's the next David Schwarz so I'm keen to see him play. Schache was recruited to back up the forwards and to pinch hit in the ruck so I'd like to see him play as well. As I said I'm a TMac fan but he did little on Saturday night beyond freeing up Brown. If he's even sore I'd play someone else. I am impatient for the future though, that's my curse.

I've long been a TMac fan but he must be close to cooked. If either Schache or JVR can't offer what he offered on Saturday night then why are they on the list. Name one thing he did that the others couldn't do. Not to mention Fritsch will take Laurie's spot soon enough. If JVR hasn't built the tank as someone suggested then play Schache and see if at 25 the penny has finally dropped.

To beat Collingwood you need to set up well defensively, slow them down between the arcs and beat them on turnover. I could be entirely wrong and bombing it to the pocket might do the trick :) Remember, If it wasn't for some poor goal kicking we had them cold last year.
