  1. Is this just a sneaky parting gift to the club on behalf of "MFCSS hot spot" Josh Mahoney? or the fact big Max'y gave him the 5 goals in 1 quarter G'up on the radio yesterday! Also this sound pretty similar to Lever and Gawn 2 years ago, swelling "awareness" following training.
  2. Oh boy did I enjoy this little gem. had myself a big ol laugh. Binman does it again!
  3. 6th at the club for score involvements though so he's pivotal in setting up our forward 50 transition.
  4. Do we try and get Jaidyn Stevenson from the pies to replace the exiting Hannan? very much a like for like player
  5. Cant argue with your point but in true MFCSS style i was feeling glass half empty about it.
  6. There must still be a foot/hip/back issue with Tmac, i guess he is the leagues new top paid VFL player. He can dominate at Casey for the rest of his contract.
  7. Collingwood are no longer interested in Tmac, throw him straight in the back line and keep him well out of Ben Browns way.
  8. Everyones forgotten about Austin Bradke as 3rd ruck/back up option. Max Gawn had big wraps on him earlier this year. Another preseason, Add some size to the shoulders and hips and he's good to go
  9. yeah seems to ask a few uneasy point considering he's on the "staff" im genuinely uneasy with a large amount of the answers in this interview, it sounds like our entire footy department have ignored the 2018 prelim and all of 2019 as a "1 off" Still firmly believe a lot of our issues are from selecting too many inside mids in the team each week taking games off the specialist position players ruining the game style
  10. Skip to 2m10s of the below vid of Mahoneys interview on the melbourne site and it sums up why our team is so lost! If that's what the footy department truly believe we have no hope of improvement, they still think all these things are 1 offs.......dead set WTF! https://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/786500/josh-mahoney-round-9-review?videoId=786500&modal=true&type=video&publishFrom=1596193765001
  11. F*K it i say we throw the "ALL NEW" Oscar in the forward line as a straight swap for Tom, hahaha he's in form after all?
  12. how good was Brayshaws handball to the outside for Omac to run onto?
  13. Similar athleticism as J.Smith, bit of extra leap and lateral agility than most but can actually use the ball in hand.
  14. 100% with jordan I still like the look of sparrow, good size, clean hands, hard nut mentality, reads the ball exceptionally well and foot skills arent terrible
  15. totally agree he is on the downward spiral but surely that should mean the next in line is looking to step up and take the red hot small opposition player allowing jetta to then destroy 2nd/3rd best or play as a spare chopping off contests like he has done so many times in the past years. dont worry about not having him as a son in law just think we're only 8-10 years away from recruiting his kids under father son rule!
  16. everything he does looks in slow motion but everyone around him seems even slower, CLASS!
  17. Sparrow & Jordan look likely to break into the team soon anyway both are developing nicely and both bring something a little different to our mids
  18. Are the coaches asking too much of Lord Nev and setting him up to fail with the matchup tasks they set for him? Granted i don't believe anyone thought Rankine would be quite as electric as he was but he absolutely torched him for pace. And previous game he played r2 vs Carlton he was expected to clean up the coaches mess and play on MacKay who has him covered twice over for height......WTF! We all love Nev and his ability to cover tall & small has been outstanding over the years but surely he has also earns the right to be appropriately matched up each week. the art of coaching is surely largely about getting the best out of your players and having Jetta play roles like this to cover for the coaching groups one dimensional game style is having a negative effect on his career.
  19. They may have reduced the "bees to a honey pot" by still happens at crucial moments. What kills me is watching the forward 50 get absolutely swamped by our player instead if keep that arc of 4-6 player across the centre just 60-70m out. Stopping the exit and creating space for the forwards.
  20. Also my guess is Rivers managed/protected this week, give the young bloke a week or two off to give the small frame a recovery
  21. bit rich of the club to drop tomlinson after making him ruck, the exact reason he wanted out of GWS and was the main selling point he noted when he signed "goody wants me as a specialist wingman" ha also went on to [censored] about playing all over the ground and not getting any continuity in his game having to be Mr Fix it utility.
  22. Interesting the clubs gone fairly quiet on his performances in the scratchies.
  23. nah, his forehead just started bleeding until he got what he wanted....a bag of nuts id asume
  24. If only Oliver knew how powerful he is and can be and would back himself to gather and clear the contest instead of blind handballs back inside the contest to a stationary player whom is most likely outnumbered
