I would love to see some spirit and fight but highly doubt I will. The team has checked out as was clear to see against the hawks last week. No self respect. Pathetic year from our so called leaders with the honourable exception of maxy I’m sorry but I’m not at all enamoured with this team at the moment. Thankfully we have a great women’s team who display the fighting qualities I want to see in those wearing the red and blue.

We have squandered the opportunity to become a destination club post our ‘21 flag. Very difficult to do as the only way to do is through sustained on field success over a period of time. But we have really blown it. 4 years post flag and out list is in very poor shape. List management has been terrible. At a successful club Judd would be happy to play wherever he was asked to and would not be holding off signing this contract. We’re back in the same boat as the other smaller, less successful teams that have to convince players to stay and make accommodations for them rather than the other way around. I hope Judd stays, he's a good player but the terms have to be right for us. And the attitude has to be right. To get back up the ladder we need players to buy in and help us improve. Judd is not giving me the impression he's all that committed to the club.
