He disrespected the club in 24 with the way he went about trying to get traded. For that reason he will not held in the highest esteem that his efforts in the guernsey probably deserved. He did go to an inter-state club though that paid a good price for a 30 year old. he did the right thing by us in that regard. he doesn't owe us anything. and we don't owe him anything either. he's an opposition player now. i won't boo him. but i won't be cheering him either.

i was out for a meal last night and found myself drawn to the action on the big screen in the bar. plenty of other punters were as well. it was more physical than i expected and a good standard overall. i have no dog in the race but i reckon club rivalries in Victoria would make it hard for Victorians to get fully behind the team. i'd find it very hard to support the likes of daicos or dangerfield.

Fair comment I note you reference to an older generation of musicians. They expressed their politics through their music. Which I’m fine with. And I get the sense they meant what they sang about. I don’t get that sense from modern musicians. I’ve picked on bono because he can’t walk past a microphone without pontificating, yet he has some very questionable tax structures in place. i guess its the hypocrisy that gets on my nerves
