We have 2 developing KPFs in JVR and Jeffo so i don't think this is an area of need for us particularly now that we have signed Mihocek if we were to take him on we are essentially saying Jeffo not up to it (he's a 50/50 proposition at this stage) Also, if i was a KPF like Walter i'd want to back myself to make the Suns team and play on the 3rd best defender. Better environment to develop rather than joining our dysfunctional forward set-up (which hopefully King can sort out sharpish). Even if we wanted Walter i don't think he would want us.

Humphrey as part of the deal is first preference. Hopefully we can persuade the kid to come to us my second preference are 2 top 10 picks which the Suns can provide i haven't paid any attention to Walter so can't comment on whether worth including in the deal

We can only play hardball if Humphrey starts to really agitate for the move and there’s no sign yet that he will. If we accept 7 and a lower pick I will be very annoyed. Better to keep Trac than settle for that.
