i will say, I'm not sure how a whistleblower giving this story to the Herald Sun and drawing further attention to Steven May helps him, his partner and their daughter.

I assume the club wanted to reassure wives and girlfriends that they were taking the allegations against May seriously. They didn't want to be seen to condone the alleged behaviour. That said, they shouldn't be disclosing legally sensitive information, if that is in fact what they have done.

Some of Pettys efforts yesterday were weak, but he won't get dropped. I agree with keeping Latrelle in the team. He chases and harries just like his cousin and provides plenty of forward pressure. He hasn't got to the pace of the game yet but he needs games to get there. I reckon his defensive pressure keeps in the team. If that drops off then i reckon he'll go back to the VFL.
