  1. I think its very possible they regress and won't be surprised if they miss finals.
  2. and meant to say, Smith is in no way and adequate replacement for Petty down back. the suggestion is laughable (and i'm not a Smith hater, he can do a job for us)
  3. I can see the merits of moving him forward for sure but on balance i'd leave him where he is. Defensively, I think he can be our lynchpin in due course. May is 30 so hasn't many years left and Rick is an interceptor as we know. It won't be long before Petty will be taking the opps most dangerous KPF Great option to swing forward if needed though
  4. I dream of Freo having a Melbourne 2019 type season. That would be fun to watch
  5. The Good Doctor was unique. One of a kind . » Director’s Cut: ‘The Kentucky Derby Is Decadent and Depraved,’ by Hunter S. Thompson (grantland.com)
  6. Norwegian black metal. Gaahl was a weird unit
  7. The city of the tribes. Great spot
  8. The girls have the sniff of finals in their nostrils now. The bombers will be put to the sword
  9. How good is Grundy going to be for us. An upgrade on Jackson, in the short to medium term at least, I reckon
  10. Looking very dashing in this photo is dogga. The wind blowing through his hair and all. Don’t know why he couldn’t find himself a nice Melbourne girlfriend
  11. The in laws are st Kilda supporters. Decent folks all round except when at the footy. Went to a few saints games with them and oh boy were they feral. A real eye opener they were happy for me when we won last year so I’d like to see them win one as well. unfortunately their list is full of spuds and the game has moved on from Ross the boss. They’ll be closer to bottom 4 next year rather than top 4. Another rebuild looms
  12. Both excellent players but I’d have Clarry because he’s so durable. Cripps career will go the same way as fyfe I reckon
  13. AFLW Team of the Week, round eight (womens.afl) Heath, Purcell and Harris made the cut.
  14. True but the people complaining about his lack of a farewell are the same people who are resentful towards him anyways. They’ll never be happy People get caught up in this stuff. End of the day he voted with his feet and has gone back to play for his home town team. I don’t need to hear his platitudes about how much he loves the MFC, how brilliant we are, how heart wrenching the decision was. It’s just word salad to placate a section of our fanbase who can’t be pleased anyways. I’ve moved on. I suggest everyone else does as well
  15. rather than thinking of it as barracking for the pies to win, think of it as barracking for the Lions to lose
  16. Chelsea Randall to miss 3-5 weeks with an ankle injury. Huge out for the Crows
  17. If he had posted a long farewell message posters would have complained that it was insincere
  18. Big fish. Small pool. No place to hide in WA Luke
  19. I thought he was finished so very pleasantly surprised with his form when he came into the team late in the season. Notched up his 200th game which is no mean achievement
  20. Battered and bruised. Would be nice if we could hit him up on a lead rather than dumping the ball on his head with 3 defenders hanging out of him
  21. BDA replied to Wrecker46's topic in Melbourne Demons
Do you think Kozzie will stay DD?
  22. I was worried this could be a banana skin with the outs but that was very professional Slick ball movement, accurate goal kicking and a nice percentage boost West, Hanks. Hore and Zanker best but overall an even contribution across the board Go dees
  23. Love Shelley Heath. Never shirks
  24. Come on girls. a 5-goal quarter would do nicely for our percentage
  25. He's yesterday's man. Shows how clueless this St Kilda board are by bringing him back
