just reporting in from melbourne... have collected "big carl" from cactus... will be taking it back home tomorrow to have our last win engraved... tradition is we let the sainters hold it before and during the game... the sainters are footy tragics just like us... there has been a bit of niggle in previous games, but too many cool heads on both sides to even have a fight look like developing...

I did reply to your post, but my reply seems to have disappeared into cyberspace... there are some talented individuals, but it's the footy equivalent of back-yard cricket... we could have been sued last time for playing a couple of twelve-year-olds... and the sainters had some elderly citizens on the park... but the average age is mid-20s, i would guess...

I have heard from the opposition about the after-match BBQ... they are still trying to sort out their personnel, and I will keep talking to them... you could add legend, and lexl from demonology, to the team list as additional drinkers... seriously, they will be helping out with the after-match function, and I could not have done without legend's assistance last time...

posting to confirm Demons 32 wants to play (as above)... I missed out on meeting up with cactus today to get "big carl" from him to update it with an endorsement of our last win, but we plan to meet next week for this purpose... been thinking about the post from cactus about last time's no-shows... I volunteer to send everyone a pm a week before the game and ask them to confirm... I propose that those that do not confirm within 4 days lose their possies and be listed as unconfirmed on the team-sheet until they do confirm... please post your thoughts on this suggestion... late thought - maybe mfc should send the pm's to cut out the middle man ??
