  1. Nope. Club said he’s a chance to play against Richmond in the practice match next week.
  2. Yep. Was flicked a message almost instantly after I posted it. Expected back in training on Friday 👏🏼
  3. Any track watcher have an idea why Grundy was absent?
  4. When the new training jumpers came there was no 7 on any of them so waiting for the appropriate to arrive. Isn’t Riv nice for sharing? 😂
  5. Turner has the last spot. Confirmed. Burgoyne was offered the chance to stay with Casey when he was invited to train if he didn’t make it onto the list. Wonder if he’ll take that opportunity.
  6. Thought there were some absolutely huge knocks and smashes in todays session. Did you miss those collisions ? 😂
  7. Unfortunately we are not the only sporting code/team that trains on Goschs.
  8. Adams and Verrall back into training in February. Coming back from bad Shoulder / Groin injuries.
  9. Some training updates in here 👍🏼 https://aflratings.com.au/afl-news-melbourne/
  10. Would love a bit of a report RL 😉
  11. Both in attendance. Great to see
  12. Clarry and Hunter both have been sick this week. Club hope they’ll be back on track Friday 👍🏼
  13. Adams and Verrall are both coming back from long term injuries. Won’t be involved until late Jan/early feb.
  14. Totally disagree. He can kick a football and hit a target. 80% of our team can’t.
  15. Genuine Round 1 chance. Huge wraps on on him and Goody is a very very big fan. Keen to watch his development.
  16. Luckily Howes just signed a 2 year contract extension 😉
  17. He’s a determined character and is quite aware at 25 at his third club this is his last shot at it. What he was told in his talks in coming to Melbourne was to work his butt off, put on some size and leave no stone unturned. And the way he came back has proven he’s going to give it his all. He’s aware he’s got a lot of untapped potential. So hopefully that holds him in good stead. Hasnt put a foot wrong so far.
  18. He will push for selection absolutely. Point to prove. Last chance saloon. Quietly believe he’ll be a very good option for us.
  19. Nope. Definitely Kye. Verrall on limited action until late Jan recovering from a lingering groin issue. Club taking the cautious approach.
  20. Kye Turner. Train on player.
  21. Kayne Turner? I’m hoping he’s still at North😂 In all seriousness KYE turner has impressed. Unfortunately we have many intercept defenders like him. Maybe one to watch if Tomlinson departs end of 23’ if he’s not picked up elsewhere.
  22. Gus will be right for round 1. Always has a limited preseason just for his body to settle, young man living in an old man’s body😂. As for Verrall and Adams, they’ve both been recovering from injuries that derailed their seasons and notably why they weren’t taken earlier in the draft. Verrall with a groins issue and Adams with a bad shoulder. They should be into the thick of things late Jan/early Feb.
