  1. Just ask him to provide some solid training updates along with all the posters on here. Our social media team certainly arenā€™t providing anything šŸ˜‚
  2. Tall stocks taking a hit already šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø
  3. Am aware of that. Although compared to other clubs, we are very average in any content area. Wish it would be improved upon.
  4. Yeah donā€™t think the clubs social media team ventured out eitherā€¦.. pathetic with barely any updates or content as always.
  5. ANB critics still on his back? Bloody hell, we wouldā€™ve been in a much worse space without him last year. Was one of the only ones who hit targets inside 50 consistently. Most underrated player in our side. Thereā€™s a reason heā€™s got a cemented spot in the side every week.
  6. Itā€™s just rubbish isnā€™t? Worst in the league. No interviews or barely any footage. Absolute joke. Just need to look at how the Pies, and especially Dockers/North today went about updating fans on what was going on. Such a neglected area.
  7. Howes will be replacing Riv in the backline. That big bull Riv is heading straight for the midfield
  8. I enjoyed and appreciated your interview with Koltyn mate. Interview wise you guys do it best and wish you had more access so we could actually get some proper insight rather than robotic short and sharp ā€˜get it over and done withsā€™.
  9. Yep. The clubā€™s social media is by far the worst in the league. Social media doesnā€™t move the needle for everyone (understandably) but for the people who do enjoy regular updates, the lack of content and quality of it is rubbish. Minimal photos, next to no training footage, the interviews with players and coaches are just over 1 minute if we are lucky and we are one of the only clubs who doesnā€™t do press conferences in pre season. Billings, Tholsturp, Brown we still havenā€™t heard from. Wouldā€™ve loved to have heard more from McQualter also. Wish the club would try to improve in this area however they clearly do not care in the slightest since Ben Gibson left.
  10. Bit of word that Tomo has been dropped for Petty.
  11. So you think every young key forward who comes in will be like JVR and dominate games like he did last year? Right. Thatā€™s all I need to read then to know thereā€™s no point continuing this conversation.
  12. Your excel at thinking you know better than our recruiting team is what I find amusing. The kid has played 8 games? I'm sure you watched Judd McVee last year and said the same thing when he didnā€™t have any influence on games.
  13. Comparing to JVR again who is a different beast for his age. itā€™s Jeffersonā€™s first year, so stupid to keep comparing a rare talent, to one who needs some time. But again, enjoy writing 18 year olds off, itā€™s a great lookšŸ˜‚
  14. His eyes are paid to pick players, and built this Melbourne list form scratchšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
  15. I did watch, and itā€™s a coaching issue no doubt but also, Carlton made that game very ugly and didnā€™t help what we did at all. They flooded the backline at all costs to stop score, which created no space. Not all teams do that, bottom 4 teams do, which Carlton are just that.
  16. After this long, I thought people would trust Jason Taylor by now, who this guy he was huge on. I guess not. I canā€™t wait for him to prove many wrong, because I have no doubt he will.
  17. Our forward structure was Brown-Tmac, Fritta and Gawn/Jackson in our Premiership year. Our defence was Petty May Lever. It never needed to be changed other than personnel. 2 key defenders and the interceptor. And 2 key forwards and medium tall with a resting ruckman. Brown standing in the square alleviates so much pressure from Roo purely by the defender he takes. Fritsch gets a third tall who he can play off if Brown is there. I struggle to understand why people canā€™t see it to be honest.
  18. Brown doesnā€™t need to work up the ground, in fact he doesnā€™t need to leave 50. That is now, and evidently Rooā€™s job. If he gets it kicked at him, if heā€™s in front, he marks it, or he gets a free kick. Time and time again we have failed to live up to what he needs with direct kicking to him on a lead. Heā€™s not a bomb on head forward and I cannot believe or ever fathom how the coaches canā€™t see this. If he puts his arms in front, itā€™s an arm chop or a defender falls into his back. we should be playing someone on Darcy Moore, unpopular opinion Iā€™m sure, but that should be Jake Melksham.
  19. Weitering was playing on Roo last night. That said it all. Brown is needed for structure. No club or player is nervous about Schache, they never have been, and likely never will be. Browns first two games showed heā€™s worth persisting with. Again, he will never go well at VFL with the standard of delivery, umpiring and flow of the game. Itā€™s very obvious isnā€™t it?
  20. Are your standards based on JVR? Because if they are, have a reality check. In the context of big forwards, Roo is a massive anomaly in that not many come in and have an impact straight away and Jefferson isnā€™t ready. Not many big forwards are expected to be, but so many on this page especially think heā€™s going to dominate games like Roo did last year when itā€™s just not realistic at all, not to mention them being very different players also.
  21. Got dropped a week after 90 point victory over the second worst team in the comp.
  22. Hardly a surprise with who we have in there.
  23. Brown started the season with 8 goals in two matches and the club admitted he shouldnā€™t have lined up against Sydney with his back injury. Will never look great at VFL level with sub par ball movement and delivery. His inclusion into the side will help Roo and Fritta tenfold. I very much hope heā€™s back in soon and from listening to an interview from Richo last night, heā€™s not far away.
  24. Bill is a young star. What a first, second, third and fourth effort to finish it off.
  25. Laurie is such a clean footballer. Hope he gets a crack soon. Will only get better playing with our firsts.
