He very well might, and I won't be sad if he does. Just my opinion that after a win like that I wouldn't be making any 'automatic' changes.
-
Thought both TMac and Weid were good and we won by 11 goals. Ben can win back his spot just like everyone else.
-
No change (barring injury). Sorry Ben.
-
Weid's been good! Nice to see him get a little reward.

Dees Footy TM

Not bad from both here....

No late changes, so he's playing. Don't reckon the lack of tape is evidence he's 100% though. It miraculously disappeared the week after everyone started asking about it. Definitely been playing sore lately.
-
Fair few of the players in the polos, so don't reckon Trac in one is a worry. Haven't heard there's any late changes, anyone else?
-
Unfortunately not (as yet anyways).
-
Possibly, but I never read too much into Goody's team sheet placements. It's more a list of players rather than exact positions they'll play.
-
Trac rumoured to be doing a fitness test this morning, so potential definitely there for a late change.
-
Petty's in for Tomo.
-
Have never heard this used for footy before and I bloody love it.
-
Thought it was pretty self explanatory tbh. You think the backline is doing fine, but you also want to change one of the key components. Doesn't make sense to me.

I mean, Joel Smith is on limited preparation also, not to the same extent of course; but Brown wasn't brought back in after missing a week so can't see Smith (who's not really needed given we're already in 'ok shape down back') coming straight back in, especially after a goalless half. That's leaving aside the argument about who's a better option out of Smith and Tomlinson (although we may have been given a clue by our skipper as to Maysie's thoughts...) ;)

Doing the typical Demonlander thing and reading a bit into things, but going by Goody's presser today is sounds like Petty might play VFL this week just to get a bit more touch/form. He didn't specifically say that, but emphasized Petty was 'physically ready' but they'll look at whether he's ready for AFL footy yet.

It's not that incident. Photo caption is: "Ben Brown tackles Teia Miles high..." Report says: "two-game suspension for striking Williamstown's Max Philpot"
-
Bizarre! Literally the last bloke in the league you'd think would get suspended for anything, let alone striking.
-
Not 100% sure that's correct. He had his lowest meters gained for the year against Port. Yeah that's pretty fair. I don't feel strongly either way about him tbh, but I really see him as more a 'second tier' option and think he's first out once Salem is back (as things stand currently anyway). He could even come out for Hibberd depending on his form when he starts playing again.

1/3 of his disposals are turnovers. The big change to our fortunes started when the coaches really focused on our points conceded from back half turnovers, this is when we saw Frost traded for example, so I don't think it's a stretch for people to assume the selection committee wouldn't look favourably on turnovers coming out of defence. Personally I don't think he'll be dropped (yet), but I wouldn't be shocked to see it happen given the above context.
