Great move if he gave us 5 years. If not I could take or leave him.

Quite right Ding. I am sick of the worshipping at the Jackson altar. Sure he was competent. That was his job. He couldn't give a stuff, just like pert and all the rest.

Likely because he is a VFL standard coach.

Just think we could have has a suburban coach, President and CEO for the past 6 years and be in much the same position. It is mind boggling. many will criticize but Roos for 2-3 years was always a desperate move.

Serious problems and issues to address. None will make 2020 clear sailing Jones and Lewis will be gone. They not be playing well but will leave a hole in leadership. Brayshaw looks close to lost to footy, certainly with us. ANB, Hannan need to go. We do not have a matchwinner no matter how good Oliver is. We do not have players that lap up the big moments. And on it goes.

Six years in to the latest rebuild. Dub administration. Anyone who thinks this year is a blimp needs their head read. Dud coach- the concept of coaching is not all about game plans it is improving players weaknesses both in the area of skill and mental approach. Dud recruiting Too many dud players.

POSTGAME: Rd16 vs Carlton
I understand the Casey bit. I always went to the Reserves game in the hope of seeing an up an comer before the usual disaster that was the senior game. Had the pleasure of seeing a young Jimmy Stynes dominate hitouts one day when the irish experiment was a joke. and then one day around the same time I reckon I counted Sean Wight take nine marks in a last quarter. Gee I miss the reserves games.

When is the acid going to be put on Melbourne’s woeful season
Lever has talent and leadership but is massively over rated by our footy department on his performances over the journey. It was exasperated by that idiot captain of theirs going on like he was irreplaceable.

The Doggies had to fight to keep the Club alive and they now really stand for something in the Western suburbs with strong community networking, interaction and planning. Now they have the facilities that go hand in hand with the fighting spirit. That is why I see what they have achieved as a model for our future home base and a clean start.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
- When is the acid going to be put on Melbourne’s woeful season
So true. Clubs like us around because historically most have a two out of a three chance of beating us.- Kobe Farmer
I would rather see him at Freo than have the go home factor play out for a few years from getting to us.- Casey Demons v Northern Blues - Round 14
Spargo. I sometimes feel recruiters do so much analysis into players as part of a due diligence plan that they go against logic and gut feel, which in Spargos case would have been, too small without speed. Those two things alone should have ruled him out for further analysis. end of story, move on to the next on the list.- A loss to Carlton ...
In hindsight it was all so predictable. Get in a highly rated coach on massive $$$, give him unlimited influence, replace him on match day two years in with a rookie and watch the wheels fall off.- Casey Demons v Northern Blues - Round 14
Liked Bedford and Jordan, keep getting development into them. Very concerned neither Spargo or OMac have no physical presence at VFL level. Shame but I would move on Spargo and think long and hard at OMac. Kielty very ordinary as well. - When is the acid going to be put on Melbourne’s woeful season
